Every great game has a mission bigger than the player. On 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟯 of the Scholars' Leadership Camp 2026, our USLS–Association of DOST Scholars delegates discovered that true leadership isn't about chasing high scores, it's about creating opportunities for others to succeed.

Through meaningful discussions on 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐟-𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, and 𝐆𝐨𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠, our delegates learned that every challenge is a quest to understand, every problem is a puzzle waiting to be solved, and every act of service brings us one step closer to building stronger communities.

With grit as our power-up and purpose as our compass, we're reminded that the greatest achievement isn't unlocking the next level, it's helping others level up with us.

𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮 of the Scholars' Leadership Camp 2026 immersed our USLS–Association of DOST Scholars delegates in a meaningful journey of learning, reflection, and personal development centered on 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞.

Through engaging discussions, interactive workshops, and collaborative activities, our delegates explored the importance of active listening, effective communication, goal setting, grit, and the values that define responsible leadership. More than developing skills, the sessions challenged every scholar to cultivate integrity, empathy, humility, and a genuine commitment to serving others.

As 𝘿𝙊𝙎𝙏 𝙨𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙧𝙨 and 𝙇𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙨, we are reminded that excellence is not measured solely by achievements or intelligence. It is reflected in how we lead with character, uplift our communities, and use our knowledge to create meaningful change.

No shortcuts, just waves, winds, and the will to lead. 🌧️

The journey to 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀' 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 wasn't exactly set on easy mode. With persistent rains making their presence felt, our USLS–Association of DOST Scholars delegates crossed the waters with courage and determination, proving that true scholars never back down when the weather gets tough.

Upon arriving in Iloilo, 𝗗​𝗮​𝘆​ ​𝟭 officially began with warm welcomes, new friendships, meaningful conversations, and an inspiring orientation. From strangers to fellow Iskolars united by one purpose, every interaction became another step toward becoming better leaders and nation-builders.

Sometimes, the roughest voyage leads to the most worthwhile destination. The storm may have tested our journey, but it never shook our mission. 🌦️💚

As hearty as Western Visayas’ famous Batchoy and as flavorful as Negros’ iconic Chicken Inasal, our scholars from Western Visayas and the Negros Island Region arrived ready to bring their passion, excellence, and Iskolar spirit to the camp.

As we continue to mourn the passing of Manong Ken, we also recognize the immense grief and challenges his family is facing during this difficult time.
