The School for Creative Beginners, a prime preschool in Bacolod City, inaugurated its annex-building, THE STUDY ROOM, on June 3, 2011 with simple rites followed by fellowship with family, friends and staff. The STUDY ROOM is a tutorial and special activities center that commits to provide a rich and comfortable environment where students' success-potentials can be developed through quality learning support relevant to their individual needs. The special programs offered by The Study Room are the Literacy Acquisition Program (LAP)-an individualized ladder-up tutorial solution for reading and literacy, the Penmanship Power (PP)-using the US-Based method Handwriting Without Tears, and the Playgroup-a supervised activity-laden day care. Individualized and small group sessions for homework assistance and academic review are also offered for preschool, grade school, and high school students. College students who have difficulty in a particular subject area can also be assisted by appointment.
