To the anchor and the sail of the organization—grounded yet always moving us forward, Happy Birthday, Commander Angel!

Through the calm and chaos of every event, training, meeting, and duty, your dedication, commitment, and strong leadership make everything possible and successful. Every sacrifice, effort and strength you give to this organization are deeply appreciated.

We know how big the responsibility that lies on your shoulders right now is, but there is no other person we would trust more to carry it. We chose you not only because we wanted you in that position, but because we saw the light in you—the kind of light that reflects the true qualities of a good leader. Thank you for accepting the responsibility, for believing in us, and for continuing to lead us with grace, positivity, and courage.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | Bacolod City College, through the BCC-SDRRMU, in collaboration with JSONO, NSTP-CWTS, and ROTC, successfully conducted a Fire Suppression Training held in front of the City Engineer’s Office. The training equipped participants with essential knowledge and hands-on skills in fire prevention, proper use of fire extinguishers, fire suppression techniques, and emergency response, strengthening their preparedness and confidence in responding to fire-related emergencies.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Rodolfo A. Jamora Jr., BSN, AEMT, OSH, Lead Trainer, DRRMO Taculing, for sharing his expertise and leading the training; Andrew Q. Lachica, MTM, Head Adviser, for his guidance and support; and to all participating organizations for their valuable participation and cooperation in making the Fire Suppression Training a success.

Mental Health Month is a reminder that caring for ourselves goes beyond what others can see. Sometimes, we need to slow down, give ourselves space to breathe, and acknowledge what we are feeling.

Let this month be an invitation to practice self-compassion, listen without judgment, and remind the people around us that they are seen and valued.

May we continue to build a world where talking about mental health is met with understanding, where seeking support is welcomed, and where no one feels ashamed for needing a moment to pause.

Your mind deserves care. Your heart deserves kindness. And your well-being deserves to be a priority.

This Mental Health Month, let us choose to be gentler—with ourselves and with one another.

‎Today, August 15, 2026, marks the first day and orientation of the BCC-SSDRRMU applicants as they officially begin their journey toward becoming part of the organization. The orientation was started by the opening remakrs of our dedicated adviser, 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘄 𝗤. 𝗟𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗮, together with our committed SSDRRMU officers.

‎The program introduced the applicants to the background of BCC-SSDRRMU, mission, vision by 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗺𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗻 𝗝𝗮𝘃𝗮 and 𝗠𝘀. 𝗠𝗲𝗸𝘆𝗹𝗮 𝗟𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗮 . Policies, The Constitutio-by-laws, programs and activities, benefits, and opportunities within the organization by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗝𝗼𝘆𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝗻 𝗦𝗼𝗯𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗴𝗮, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗖𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗮 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗮 and 𝗠𝘀. 𝗗𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗵 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲. It also gave everyone the opportunity to meet the officers, introduce themselves, and learn from the meaningful experiences shared by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗶 𝗛𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘂𝘁 and our SSDRRMU officers.

‎From the opening prayer and welcome remarks to the Q&A, photo-taking, and closing remarks, the day was filled with learning, fellowship, and excitement for what lies ahead.

𝗕𝗖𝗖‑𝗦𝗗𝗥𝗥𝗠𝗨: 𝗚𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗖𝗢𝗘𝗗𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

As Academic Year 2026–2027 officially began, the College of Education (COEd) opened its doors with a warm, heartfelt welcome—bringing together new and returning students in a celebration of connection, shared purpose, and collective strength. Held on August 6, 2026, at 3:30 PM, at the Bacolod City College Activity Center, the event marked not just a welcome, but the promising start of a year built on unity, care, and readiness.

Presided over by Dr. Reyan Ballaso, Dean of the College of Education, the program featured an inspiring message from COEd Governor Rj Amar, followed by the formal introduction of student officers—including the dedicated teams of BCC Medics and NSTP officers.

More than a welcome assembly, this gathering stood upon the very values that guide BCC‑SDRRMU: unity, preparedness, and collective resilience. It was designed to strengthen the bond among every COEd student, nurture active participation, and build a community that stands ready to support one another in every season. Regardless of the degree program each COEDUKADOS pursues, all belong to one family—strong, caring, and prepared.

When an unexpected challenge arose during the program, the spirit of readiness shone through. Supported by the vigilance of our officers, the quick response of BCC Medics, and the steady presence of NSTP, the event was carried through smoothly and concluded triumphantly. A beautiful reminder: when we stand together, we are ready for anything.
