The field of addressing the drug problem has been plagued by misinformation of many kinds.

As we celebrate this year’s International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, we aim to improve the understanding of the world drug problem and foster greater international cooperation for countering its impact on health, governance and security.

Through the Philippine Anti-Illegal Drugs Strategy or PADS, we remain one with the whole world in addressing the illegal drug problem in a holistic, balanced, and comprehensive manner employing strategies based on facts, evidence, and best available science.
