STI West Negros University salutes P2LT RAYMOND P DESCUTIDO PA, a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology graduate of the University. P2LT Descutido was former Corps Commander of STIWNU's ROTC Unit from 2019-2020. He was hailed as among the esteemed graduates of the Officer Candidate Course Class 60-2024 "Aramsidlak."

The Officer Candidate Course is a rigorous one-year training program designed for qualified baccalaureate degree holders who aspire to become Commissioned Second Lieutenants in the Regular Force of the Philippine Army. This program aims to develop servant-leaders and agents of transformational change dedicated to serving the Filipinos.

P2LT DESCUTIDO exemplifies how an STIer values commitment to serving the community and nation.

The STIWNU ROTC unit triumphed in the display of dedication to excellence and tactical bravery as they resiliently mustered courage, exhibiting traits that made them unstoppable in the face of adversity and well-versed conquerors.

Through the resolute leadership of NSTP Head and ROTC Commandant, LTC REY T ESLABON (CoP) PA, and his entire staff of whom are delighted and humbled to celebrate their noteworthy accomplishment and tremendous success.
