Rizal Elementary School conducts the Distribution of Cards and Portfolio Day, September 18, 2026, a day of celebrating learning, recognizing progress, and strengthening the partnership between school and home!

Today, we celebrate not only the grades reflected on every report card but, more importantly, the effort, perseverance, growth, and achievements of every Rizalian learner.

Through Portfolio Day, parents and guardians get a glimpse of their children’s learning journey—their accomplishments, challenges, creativity, and continuous improvement. Together, teachers and families affirm that every learner has a unique story of growth worth celebrating.

R.I.Z.A.L. IN-SERVICE TRAINING FOR TEACHERS | September 10–11, 2026

Two days of reflection, learning, collaboration, and renewed commitment to quality education unfolded at the Rizal Heritage Building during the recently concluded R.I.Z.A.L. (Reflective Instruction for Zealous, Adaptive, and Learner-Centered Teaching): A 2-Day Teachers’ In-Service Training for Strengthening Responsive, Differentiated, HOTS-Oriented, and Data-Informed Instruction.

Anchored on the theme, “Inspired by Rizal, Empowered to Teach, Committed to Transform,” the training brought together the teachers of Rizal Elementary School to deepen their practice and strengthen their response to the diverse needs of every learner.

Day 1 focused on:
R – Reflective Teaching: From e-SAT Results to Professional Growth
I – Inclusive Instruction: Differentiating Learning for Every Learner
Z – Zealous Teaching: Strengthening Literacy, Numeracy, and Learner Achievement

Day 2 highlighted:
A – Advancing Thinking: Integrating HOTS and Creative Thinking in Daily Lessons
L – Learner-Centered Assessment: Using Assessment to Improve LearningCrafting responsive Intervention Plans

The meaningful sessions, workshops, and demonstration teaching provided opportunities for teachers to translate professional learning into practical classroom strategies—making instruction more responsive, inclusive, reflective, and learner-centered.

🌏🇵🇭 **RIZAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CELEBRATES ASEAN MONTH 2026!** 🇵🇭🌏

“Navigating Our Future, Together” — the theme of the Philippines’ ASEAN 2026 Chairship — came alive at Rizal Elementary School as we joined the nation in celebrating ASEAN Month last Monday, August 10, 2026. 🌏🤝✨

Our Monday Program became a vibrant celebration of ASEAN unity, friendship, cultural diversity, and cooperation through the singing of “The ASEAN Way,” together with lively songs, dances, and cultural costumes presented by our learners. 🎶💃🕺🌺

The celebration was further enriched through the integration of Buwan ng Wika 2026, with the theme "Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon,” reminding our learners of the continuing importance of our national language while embracing technology as a tool for learning, research, and access to information. 🇵🇭📚💻

We likewise integrated the observance of History Month 2026 with the theme “Hinubog ng Bayan, Dinuyan ng Alon,” encouraging our learners to appreciate the stories, heritage, and historical experiences that shaped our nation and our identity. 📜🌊🇵🇭

FRESH BEGINNINGS. Rizal Elementary School embarked on a new voyage as the school gates open to School Year 2026-2027 this June 8.

The grounds under the old acacia trees were filled once again with enthusiastic smiles as the morning kicked off with a flag ceremony in front of the Heritage Building headed by Pedro G. Crispe, Jr, ESP IV and. Dr. Jessica Gela, Education Supervisor in English.

PRIDE AND PATRONAGE. Rizal Elementary School, alongside faculty, staff, Philippine National Police
(PNP) and Department of Education (DepEd) officials of Bacolod City celebrated National Flag Day at Rizal Park, May 28.

The event aims to commemorate the first unfurling of the Philippine flag all the way from May 28, 1898 after the victory in Battle of Alapan, Imus, Cavite.

In Filipino history, the flag represents hardships, growth, and a country’s pride. As one grows, we look to the flag in remembrance of all those events and as a symbol of hope for a better future. Thus, it is a waving symbol of resilience and hope for each Filipino.

Today, as we celebrate National Flag Day, let us reflect that every thread of our flag tells stories of battles to freedom, symbolizes steadfast valor for unity and reverence to the history.
