ππππ : SPORTFEST 2026 OFFICIALLY OPENS AT HFHS-BACOLOD
The annual Sportfest 2026 was officially launched on September 10 at Holy Family High SchoolβBacolod, carrying the theme "Unity in Motion: Celebrating Culture, Creativity, and Excellence."
The entire school grounds were filled with energy and enthusiastic cheers as students showed their unwavering support for their classmates and fellow athletes.
Opening remarks were delivered by Moderators Mrs. Chella Mae Camuyudo and Ms. Camille Vinarta, who emphasized the importance of unity and good sportsmanship.
Followed the Oath of Sportsmanship, led by Bronze Medalist Jasmine MontaΓ±o, who pledged to compete with honor, respect, and integrity.
The opening ceremony marks the start of various sporting events, including volleyball, badminton, table tennis, chess, and athletics all expected to showcase skill, camaraderie, and the true spirit of being a proud Familian.
The volleyball championship brought energy to the court, with all houses raging with spirit.
Meanwhile, athletics had already started early in the morning, and despite the heavy rain, the athletes pushed through and continued competing with determination.
Chess, table tennis, and badminton also brought out the competitive spirit of the students.
With every cheer from the houses and every effort from the athletes, Sportfest 2026 became more than just a competition; it became a celebration of teamwork, friendship, school spirit, and the true spirit of being a proud Familian.
In continuation of Sportsfest 2026:
For the games: Sack Race with a twist, Bato-Bato Pick relay, and Mobile Legends, each section and club was able to exemplify the Familian Spirit with energy and sportsmanship.
By the afternoon, the vocal duet came to a start, with nuance echoing throughout the campus.
This was followed by the Hip-Hop competition and the announcement of winners.
The houses of HFHS-B emerged with energy as the House of St. Mechtilde placed 3rd, House of St. Maurus as 2nd, House of St. Francis as 1st place, and the House of St. Hildegard as overall champion for the Sportsfest 2026.
Mrs. Joan Antoinette A. Gonzaga, Familian Synergy Club moderator, extended her heartfelt gratitude to all students, faculty, and staff as the event came to an end.
