Poseidon Dance Theater

The Asturias Performing Arts went through many struggles and trials because they lacked training in contemporary dance. However, through their determination and discipline, they gradually learned and adapted to the contemporary approach. I am very happy with the output. Most of them are Grade 11 students.

This winning piece is a product of deep thought, teamwork, and purpose. The movements of the bamboo were carefully planned each motion unique, meaningful, and connected to the people it represents. Through countless brainstorming sessions and revisions, the concept was shaped until it truly reflected the story of the community and its culture.

Our inspiration came from the youth dancers of Cuayan. In their passion and dedication, we saw great potential something that strongly reminded us of our earlier work, Poseidon. Their love for dance became the soul of this performance, and from that inspiration, a champion was born.

As 2025 comes to an end, we reflect on a year filled with trials and struggles that tested our faith. Through it all, we thank the Lord for never leaving us. By His grace, we were strengthened, guided, and sustained.
As we welcome 2026, we pray for a year of peace, renewed hope, and abundant blessings. May God continue to guide our steps, bless our efforts, and lead us toward growth, unity, and success.

For almost 20 years, Poseidon Dance Theater has carried a sacred vow to dance not only for art, but for God and for every soul in need of His light. And each year, as Christmas draws near, we honor that promise through the Daigon Christmas Special by Kabuhi Foundation. Every movement becomes a prayer, every rhythm a message of hope, reminding us that this season is about giving, healing, and honoring the One who guides our steps.

This dance is our offering an act of faith, love, and compassion for the farmers, the homeless, and all those who need a spark of Christmas hope. We dance because God blessed us with a gift meant to lift others. And through this yearly tradition, we continue to shine His light, believing that even one performance can warm a heart, touch a life, and remind our community of the true meaning of Life & Christmas.
