🎬 Peer Group | September 11, 2026 🍿

Sit & Share: “This is my favorite movie because…” 🎥✨

Lights, camera, share! Our September Peer Group gave our newbies and ALs a chance to get to know each other beyond the classroom by sharing the movies they love most. 💬❤️

From comedy to horror, romance, action, and everything in between, everyone had the opportunity to talk about their favorite films, share why they enjoy them, and discover something new about their fellow teachers. 🎭🍿

Because sometimes, the best way to build connections is simply to sit, share, listen, and enjoy a good conversation together. 🫶

🗣️ Peer Group Snack Time 🎭 | September 4, 2026

Last week’s Peer Group activity, our new teachers showcased their vocal accuracy in the Intonation Game by matching the rise and fall of their pitch to different sentences.

After spinning the roulette wheel to receive a random emotion, they chose a sentence and used pitch shifts to express it. The teachers had a blast tweaking their intonation, discovering how subtle pitch changes can completely transform a sentence's meaning.

Talk about combining professional development with fun!

We’re delighted to have visited the Phil English Vietnam team at their Ho Chi Minh City office! 🇻🇳🤝🇵🇭

It was a wonderful opportunity to introduce Talkstation Academy (TSA), share our vision for English education in Cebu, and connect with a team that has been a trusted name in the Philippines study-abroad industry for many years.

As we prepare to officially welcome students to our new campus in Cebu IT Park this September, we’re excited to build meaningful partnerships with education agencies and create more opportunities for students to experience quality English education in the Philippines. 🌏📚

Thank you, Phil English Vietnam, for the warm welcome and for sharing our story with your community!

We look forward to working together and welcoming students to TSA soon. 💙

🖤 Monthly Workshop | August 2026 🖤

This August, our teachers tackled the monthly workshop topic, "Dealing with Emotions: Staying Calm and Professional in Class," paired with a fun "Same Color Couture" motif.

Through scenarios and discussions, our teachers learned to manage emotions, respond calmly, and keep the classroom positive under stress in coordinated colors, turning professional development into a fun opportunity to express teamwork and personality. 👗🎨

During the workshop, we also wish a happy birthday to our August celebrants: Center Trainer Indigo, IT Paolo, and Teachers Pamela, Fawn, and Lovie; and congratulated Teacher Fern, our July Bacolod Best Teacher.🏆👏
