HM UPDATE | 𝗕𝗦𝗛𝗠3 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

Last May 18 and 19, the 3rd year Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management students from 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗞, 𝗟, 𝗠, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡 enrolled in Catering Operations under the guidance of 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗷𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗻 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮, successfully conducted their catering event entitled “ 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘁: 𝗔 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 ”

The event was more than just a requirement in class, it became a heartfelt celebration of gratitude, love, and appreciation for the parents who continuously give their unwavering support, sacrifices, and encouragement throughout our academic journey. Through carefully prepared dishes, elegant table setups, and dedicated service, the students showcased not only the skills and knowledge they have learned in 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, but also the value of honoring the people behind every achievement. The dish was not simple,its gastronomy prepared by a student that they learned from the subject 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗚𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 under the guidance of their teacher, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗼𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗳 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗨𝘆.

“Salamat” served as a reminder that behind every student’s success is a family that believes, supports, and sacrifices. This memorable event highlighted the students’ creativity, teamwork, hospitality, and passion in creating an experience filled with warmth and appreciation for all the parents who attended.

HM UPDATE | 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄, 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄.

Last May 11, 2026, the Hospitality Management Society successfully conducted a seminar entitled “ 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝗩𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗨𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻" at Brgy. Tomongtong, E.B. Magalona.

We extend our deepest appreciation to our guest speaker, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗔𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘇 𝗭. 𝗭𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗮, 𝗟𝗣𝗧, 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗔, whose expertise provided the women of Tomongtong with a deeper understanding of their rights and the legal protections available to them. Her session was not only informative but also truly empowering for everyone in attendance.

The afternoon concluded with a strong message of community support from 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗥𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗦. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗳𝗮.

Today, we successfully conducted the Curriculum Review for our Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) and Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM) programs.

We were honored to be joined by our esteemed industry experts whose valuable insights and recommendations will help ensure that our curriculum remains relevant, innovative, and aligned with current industry standards.

This meaningful collaboration strengthens our commitment to delivering quality education and preparing our students for excellence in the hospitality and tourism industry.

The journey continues as STI West Negros University proudly celebrates its 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 from the 𝗧𝗮𝗴𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗡𝗴 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 held last April 17, 2026. Through passion, precision, and perseverance, our representatives showcased not only their skills but also the excellence and dedication that define the CHTM community.

Leading the victory are 𝗥𝗶𝗰 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘆𝗹 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗹 𝗟𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗮 (Mix N’ Flair), 𝗞𝗶𝘇𝘇𝗶𝗮 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗟𝘂𝗻𝗮𝘀 (Worth the Whisk), 𝗖𝗲𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗡𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗼 (All in Place), and the Chef Xpress team-𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁 𝗔𝗯𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲, 𝗔𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗼 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝗝𝗿., and 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝗮𝘆 𝗔𝘂𝗿𝗲, guided by their dedicated coaches :𝘉𝘦𝘯𝘫𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘦𝘯 𝘉𝘦𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘢, 𝘔𝘪𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘦𝘭 𝘛𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘤𝘰, 𝘌𝘥𝘪𝘭𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘰 𝘎𝘰𝘭𝘦𝘻 𝘐𝘐𝘐, and 𝘔𝘢. 𝘐𝘷𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘚𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘻𝘢𝘳, whose mentorship and commitment played a vital role in shaping these achievements.

From Mix n’ Flair to Worth the Whisk, All in Place, and Chef Xpress, each performance reflected countless hours of preparation, discipline, and the unwavering drive to represent the university with pride. These victories are more than just titles, they are a testament to the strength of teamwork, passion, and excellence within the CHTM community.

Now, the spotlight shifts to a bigger stage as these outstanding individuals advance to the 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹. Carrying with them the pride of STI West Negros University, they are ready to face new challenges, raise the bar even higher, and continue making their mark in the field of hospitality and tourism.

The competition at the local level was intense, but the STIWNU Champions from the CHTM Department proved they have what it takes to rise above the rest. After delivering an outstanding performance at the Tagisan ng Talino (TNT) Local Level, the pride of STI West Negros University has officially advanced to the Cluster Level.

These students didn’t just win, they raised the standard of excellence in hospitality and tourism. Their dedication, skill, and passion brought them this far, and now they are ready to take on an even bigger stage.

As they gear up to face the best contenders in the upcoming Cluster Competition, let us continue to support and cheer for our representatives. The strength of the community plays a vital role in fueling their drive to bring home the victory.

A massive shoutout to 𝗥𝗵𝗼𝗱𝗮 𝗔𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗝𝗲𝗲𝗺𝗮 𝗔𝗹𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀, both 2025 𝗕𝗦𝗛𝗠 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀! They are currently making us proud as the smiling faces greeting guests as Front Office Associates at The Muse Boracay Hotel.

This change has been made to better accommodate all participants and ensure a more comfortable and organized learning environment for everyone attending the seminar.
