The color of the neckerchief depends on the age level.

Star Scout – ages 6 to 9 (Grades 1–3)
Junior Girl Scout – ages 9 to 12 (Grades 4–6) Senior Girl Scout – ages 12 to 15 (Grades 7–10) Cadet Girl Scout – ages 15 to 21 (Grades 11–12 and Colleges)

Each age level is distinct in activities, uniform, insignia, but all levels have these in common:
-make the promise
-use the small group or patril method
-committed to do the good turn
-encourage girls to make decisions
-learn by doing
-belong to the national organization and World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS)

Girl Scouts are always ready⚜️✨ standing strong and resilient even in the face of a hurricane, embodying courage and preparedness.

The cityhighnons definitely ate and left no crumbs! It was a great day indeed☺️

Running is great for your body. It will increase your energy levels and helps you to clear your mind. The obsession with running is really an obsession with the potential for more and more life. Running is the greatest metaphor for life because you get out of it what you put into it.💚💪🏻

On National Heroes Day, the Girl Scouts of the Philippines-Ladies in green, expresses our gratitude and reverence for the heroes who have impacted our country. Their bravery, altruism, and unrelenting dedication to free our country reminds us of the power we all have to make a difference.

As we honor our history's heroes, we can also recognize the everyday acts of heroism that surrounds us, heroism is found not only in great acts, but also in little, regular actions that raise others.

For us, one of our favorite hero is our very own founder.

Pilar Hidalgo-Lim and Josefa Llanes Escoda , or Pepa, is a Filipina war heroine and an advocate of women's rights to suffrage. She was awarded the social worker's certificate in 1925 by the New York School of Social Work.

She spearheaded the organization of a Scout movement for girls, that is now known as GSP (Girl Scouts of the Philippines).

Girl Scouts are called to lead with compassion, serve with dedication, and create a better world for everyone.

The Girl Scouts of the Philippines - Ladies in Green joins the grand parade in commemoration of the 126th Independence Day. Independence Day (Araw ng Kalayaan), an annual holiday in the Philippines set on June 12, commemorates the declaration of freedom of the Philippines.

These young women represent the strength and spirit of Filipino girls everywhere. Their green uniforms symbolize their dedication to service and leadership.

As we march, remember the important role girls and women play in our nation's history and future.
