‎In celebration with 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, rooted in 𝗦𝗗𝗚 𝟏𝟑 (𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻) and 𝗦𝗗𝗚 𝟏𝟓 (𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗱), our student leaders took part in a tree planting activity at Felisa Eco Park on July 5, 2026, in collaboration with the Bacolod Environment and Natural Resources Office (BENRO).

‎This activity was a reminder that the little things can have the biggest impact. Each tree you plant is a step toward cleaner air, a healthier environment, and a brighter future for the next generation. Together we can help protect the planet, and inspire others to do the same.

The Bacolod City College Central Student Government held the afternoon activities of the Leadership Training Seminar 2026, themed “Servant Leadership: Heart of Every Leader,” on June 25 at the BCC Activity Center.

Mr. Elmeer Meeynard D. Calimpus served as the resource speaker, delivering a discussion focused on the importance of teamwork and collaboration in effective leadership. His talk highlighted how unity and shared effort enable student leaders to serve the community better.

Following the lecture, the program proceeded with interactive activities. It opened with “Find Your Team — With a Twist,” where participants had to locate their groups without speaking, using only body language and gestures to communicate. This was followed by the “Amazing Race,” a team challenge consisting of five stations that tested cooperation, agility, and problem‑solving skills. To cap the session off, each team presented their original songs and organizational yells, displaying their collective spirit and creativity.

Through these activities and discussions, participants gained deeper insights on working together, strengthening their commitment to lead as one cohesive body.

The Bacolod City College - Central Student Government continued the Leadership Training and Seminar 2026 with its Day 2 morning session on June 25 at the BCC Activity Center. The session gathered newly elected and appointed student leaders from different clubs and organizations.

The morning session featured talks from Mr. Adnan N. Balisi, who discussed the roles and responsibilities of student leaders, and Ms. Angelica T. Apawan, who emphasized the importance of accountability and commitment in leadership. Ms. Kimberly Galas and Mr. Kent John Labrador shared practical tips on organizing and planning successful events, while Ms. Nikki G. Garcelan talked about the value of empathy in leadership. Mr. Elmeer Meeynard D. Calimpos concluded the session with an interactive discussion on teamwork and collaboration.

The session gave participants the opportunity to learn from the speakers, reflect on their roles, and gain ideas they can use in serving their organizations and the BCC community.

The Bacolod City College Central Student Government successfully conducted the Day 1 of Leadership Training Seminar 2026, themed “Servant Leadership: Heart of Every Leader,” last June 24–25 at the BCC Activity Center.

The afternoon activity brought together newly elected and appointed officers from various clubs and organizations. Through activities like creating organizational logos with picket-style designs and presenting themselves in a creative way as an organization and clubs, the participants sharpened their skills, built stronger ties, and practiced teamwork.
