YOUTH EMPOWERMENT ✊️

Teofilo Gensoli Sr. National High School extends its heartfelt appreciation to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Barangay Anti Drug Abuse Council of Vista Alegre for conducting an informative and meaningful Drug Symposium for our Senior High School learners.

The symposium provided our students with valuable knowledge and awareness about the dangers and consequences of illegal drug use, the importance of making responsible choices, and the vital role of young people in building a safe, healthy, and drug-free community.

More than just a lecture, the activity encouraged our learners to think critically, stand firm against negative influences, and choose a future anchored on good decisions, self-discipline, and positive values.

RED FLAGS IN DIGITAL SPACES: Building Safer Online Communities 🛡️📱

Teofilo Gensoli Sr. National High School, in partnership with the Barangay Council of Vista Alegre, successfully conducted a meaningful seminar on Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (OSAEC) with the theme “Red Flags in Digital Spaces.”

The seminar provided learners with essential knowledge and awareness on how to recognize, respond to, and report potential dangers in the digital world. 💻🔐

Through interactive discussions and guided analysis of online behavior patterns, our learners explored the warning signs associated with online grooming and sextortion under Republic Act No. 11930, while also learning to recognize early warning indicators of targeted school violence, threats, and concerning content shared through social media and chat platforms.

The activity emphasized an important message: Awareness is our first line of defense.

Learners were encouraged to think critically before engaging, sharing, or responding online—and to seek help from trusted adults and proper authorities whenever they encounter suspicious, threatening, or exploitative online behavior.

Our collective responsibility is to create digital spaces where every child feels safe, protected, respected, and empowered.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Barangay Council of Vista Alegre headed by Punong Barangay Kap Lindy De Leon and Kagawad Shang Dela Cruz Gilera and Department of Social Services and Development and the men and women of Police Station Seven for sponsoring this important child-protection initiative and to everyone who contributed to its successful implementation.

A DAY OF REFLECTION, RECOGNITION, AND PARTNERSHIP AT TGSNHS.

Teofilo Gensoli Sr. National High School successfully conducted its Portfolio Day, and State of the School Address on September 18, 2026.

The activity served as a meaningful avenue to celebrate our learners’ accomplishments, recognize their progress, and strengthen the partnership among the school, parents, learners, and stakeholders.

The State of the School Address highlighted the school’s accomplishments, milestones, programs, projects, and continuing efforts toward providing quality, inclusive, and responsive education for every Teofilonian learner. It also presented the school’s directions and aspirations as we continue working together for the holistic development of our students.

More than simply receiving grades, Portfolio Day and Card Distribution gave learners and parents an opportunity to reflect on their learning journey—their achievements, challenges, growth, and goals for the next stage of their academic journey.

The presence and support of our valued stakeholders reminded us that education is a shared responsibility. Through strong collaboration among teachers, parents, learners, community leaders, and partners, we continue to build an environment where every learner is given the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.

Together, we move forward with one shared commitment:

RED CROSS YOUTH: YOUTH IN ACTION, HEARTS IN SERVICE!

The Luisa Medel National High School Senior Plus Red Cross Youth Council had the wonderful opportunity to visit Teofilo Gensoli Sr. National High School and connect with our young learners through an inspiring introduction to the Red Cross Youth.

During the visit, the students were introduced to the organization’s mission, values, and humanitarian principles, while learning about the many meaningful ways young people can participate in volunteerism, community service, and humanitarian action.

The activity served as a reminder that being young is never a limitation to making a difference. Through compassion, service, and a willingness to help others, our youth can become powerful agents of positive change in their communities.

TGSNHS is grateful for this meaningful opportunity to learn, connect, and inspire one another toward a culture of volunteerism and service to humanity.

Together, let us nurture a generation that cares, serves, and makes a difference.
