Together with the Order of Augustinian Recollect Priests, Deans of respective Colleges, Faculty members, and Graduates, the 2023 Baccalaureate Mass for the Class of 2022-2023, was held on June 13 at the University Oratory.
The Baccalaureate Mass was presided by the University President, Rev. Fr. Joel Alve OAR, who gave a sincere and strongly felt message for the graduates which evolved around the idea of not always seeking for visibility and recognition, as it can dull the shine of oneโs true impact.
The mass was then followed by the Imposition of Hood, having Ms. Yzi D. Oquindo, a criminology graduate, as the representative who gave a beautifully worded speech. Awards towards the Outstanding Graduates was then given.

The home of the Vanguards, led by the CCJE Governor Elgen Joseph Bermeo in collaboration with the CCJE Student Council Officers and Students Interns, conducted the University's long-standing tradition of hunting for signatures, otherwise known as Block Master List.
The activity aims to bridge the relationship between first-year students and seniors by making the freshmen interact and get to know their seniors and student leaders.
This long-standing tradition emphasizes the importance of keeping them as one, which makes working together more accessible.
"BML is an exciting activity because it gives us insights into how seniors conquer their freshmen years. We learned from their stories, from their mistakes, and also it helped us to be a better person by knowing them," said Quinnbrein Chavez, BS Criminology student from P14.
