What if you didn’t just use a computer… but actually built one?
This is a real student demo from Computer Engineering at University of Negros Occidental – Recoletos.
In this video, a 4th year CpE student, Roxanne Luceño, demonstrates a CPU she helped design from scratch. THEY BUILT AND DESIGN THEIR OWN PROCESSOR FROM SCRATCH!
From theories to actual hardware. This is what Computer Engineering is all about.
Watch closely:
Instructions are manually loaded into memory in binary (machine language)
Each instruction is verified directly from the Instruction RAM
The CPU is executed step-by-step at 1 Hz (you can literally see each instruction run)
Then pushed to 50 MHz for real-time operation
The result?
0001 1110 (30 in decimal) — computed from 5 × 6 using repeated addition
No apps. No shortcuts.
Just pure hardware ex*****on.
This is what Computer Engineering at UNO-R is about:
learning how computers actually work , from instructions, to memory, to ex*****on.
If you want to go beyond coding…
and start building the hardware systems that power the future of computing and AI,
UNO-R CpE is where it starts.
ENROLL NOW.
This project is part of the Computer Architecture course under
Engr. Brian Jay R. Lumauag.
