Last June 19, 2026, the Learning Resource Center conducted a Book Donation Drive at Paglaum Village National High School, donating 144 books to support the school's library and promote a love for reading.

This initiative reflects the LRC's commitment to community extension by making educational resources more accessible and inspiring lifelong learning.

This Language Arts Month, we celebrate the theme “In the Silence, We Speak: Elevating Voices through Literature, Art, and Imagination,” where words whisper, art listens, and imagination speaks boldly. Paired with the warmth of Valentine’s Day, the BED Main and VSAC Library became a space filled with love—for language, for stories, and for shared moments of creativity. ✨💌

Here’s to voices found in silence, hearts expressed through words, and stories that connect us all. Happy Language Arts Month and Happy Valentine’s Day!

Recognizing our Literary Stars! 🌟🏆

To cap off our 91st National Book Week celebration, we proudly awarded the winners of our various contests last November 24!

It was a day of recognition across our campuses: BED Main: The Winners received their awards at the Library and classrooms. BED VSAC: Winners were honored during the Flag Ceremony in front of the whole school.

Congratulations to all our participants and winners! Your passion for reading and creativity truly embodies our theme, “Tulay ang Pagbasa sa Bukas na Puno ng Pag-asa.” May you continue to inspire others!

Building bridges with knowledge! 🌉📖

Who says reading is a solitary activity? Last November 20, our Junior High School students came together for a friendly but fierce Book Quiz Contest at the BED Main and VSAC Library.

From classic literature to modern tales, our students navigated through questions with ease. This activity wasn't just about winning; it was about celebrating the stories that connect us.

Great job to all our sharp-minded participants! 👏🧐

Once upon a time at the VSAC Library... ✨📖

Wide eyes, listening ears, and big smiles filled the room last November 20!

Our Pre-School and Grade 1 students were treated to a magical Storytelling Session as part of the 91st National Book Week celebration. A huge thank you to Sir Stephen John Santos, whose storytelling brought the characters to life and captivated our littlest learners.

Planting the seeds of love for reading starts now.

Small hands, BIG imaginations! 🌟🖍️

The libraries were filled with color and concentration last November 20 as our Intermediate students showcased their artistic skills in the Poster Making Contest!

Interpreting the theme “Tulay ang Pagbasa sa Bukas na Puno ng Pag-asa” is no easy task, but our students delivered amazing visuals at both BED Main and VSAC Library. They proved that you don't always need words to describe the power of reading.

Congratulations to all our participants and winners! Your art truly brightened up our celebration. 🖼️👏

Bringing stories to life, one string at a time! 🎭📚

Creativity took center stage last November 19 as selected Grade 10 students showcased their talent through an amazing Puppet Show!

Held at both BED Main and VSAC Library, the performance captivated the audience and reminded us that stories aren't just found in books—they can move, talk, and inspire. This creative storytelling perfectly captured the spirit of the 91st National Book Week theme: “Tulay ang Pagbasa sa Bukas na Puno ng Pag-asa.”

Kudos to our Grade 10 performers for bringing joy and imagination to the library! 🌟
