Despite their difficulties in life or situation, children need adequate education. Education is the most effective way to enable street children to reintegrate into society. ✊🏼📚

Providing them with access to education can not only provide safe spaces and security whilst they are on the streets, but also opportunities to move away from the streets and go on to lead happy and healthy adult lives. 📖

To sustain its street education program and advocacy, We Senior Students constantly needs people who share their passion for helping street children. Help their noble cause, you can be of volunteer or donate today! 🤝🏼

The right to education is a human right, and it is crucial for the exercise of other human rights. But despite our government’s efforts to provide free education to all Filipino children, there are still those who cannot benefit from this right for various reasons. Most of them are urban poor and children in street situations.

So to reach out to these youths, We want to help through a street education program. In an effort to bring education closer to the street children, We Students has come up with “KalyEskwela,” a project which literally translates to “school on the streets."

Street Children Learning Project, aims to give and provide free learning to street children and those who are incapable of going to school. Implementing this project will help those children to learn basic knowledge, learn how to read, write, understand, and solve basic mathematics. We want to help children who are in need because we believe they also need adequate education despite their difficulties in life or situation.
