On August 10, 2026, the Rodolfo A. Medel Sr. Elementary School gathered as one community to commemorate Donor’s Day and honor the enduring legacy of its benefactor, the late Don Rodolfo A. Medel Sr.

A distinguished lawyer, judge, and respected member of the community, Don Rodolfo was remembered not only for his accomplishments but, more importantly, for his generosity and deep concern for the future of the younger generation.

Through his kindness and foresight, he donated the four-hectare school site where RAMSES now stands. What he gave was far more than a piece of land—it became a place where generations of learners have been given the opportunity to discover their potential, pursue their dreams, and build a better future.

The Donor’s Day celebration was attended by the RAMSES faculty and staff, SELG officers, and SPTA officers. The occasion served as a meaningful reminder to our learners that acts of generosity can leave a lasting impact that reaches far beyond one lifetime.

Adding significance to the celebration was the inspiring message shared on behalf of Don Rodolfo’s grandson, Mr. Rodolfo Marty Medel Panganiban, through Sir Junilo Alfonso. His words gave the RAMSES community a deeper appreciation of the family’s continuing connection to the school and the legacy left by Don Rodolfo.

As we celebrate Donor’s Day, RAMSES expresses its sincerest gratitude to the family of Don Rodolfo A. Medel Sr. for a gift that continues to benefit generations of learners. His generosity remains woven into the story of our school and continues to inspire the RAMSES community to value kindness, service, and giving.

𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝘼𝙙𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨 (𝙎𝙊𝙎𝘼) & 𝙅𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙩 𝙄𝙣𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝘾𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙮 2026

Rodolfo A. Medel Sr. Elementary School successfully conducted its State of the School Address (SOSA) and Joint Induction Ceremony on July 31, 2026, bringing together teachers, parents, stakeholders, community partners, and student leaders in a meaningful gathering that celebrated transparency, collaboration, and shared responsibility in achieving quality education.

The event featured the presentation of the school's accomplishments, initiatives, and future directions through the State of the School Address (SOSA). It also highlighted the presentation of the SPTA annual reports, the induction of the newly elected officers of the Teachers League, SPTA, Grade Level PTA, Homeroom PTA, and the SELG for School Year 2026–2027, as well as the formal turnover of leadership responsibilities.

Certificates of Appreciation and Recognition were likewise awarded to outgoing officers in acknowledgment of their invaluable service, dedication, and commitment to the school community. The program concluded with inspiring messages that encouraged the newly inducted officers to lead with integrity, teamwork, and a heart for service.

As we embark on another school year, may this event serve as a reminder that strong partnerships among the school, parents, local government, stakeholders, and learners remain the foundation of a progressive, inclusive, and learner-centered educational community.

Pursuant to Executive Order No. 49. classes in ALL LEVELS in both PUBLIC and PRIVATE schools in Bacolod City are SUSPENDED today, JULY 24, 2026, upon the recommendation of the Bacolod City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO), in line with the DOST - PAGASA Regional Heavy Rainfall Warning No. 1 Issued at 02:00 AM July 24, 2026 placing the City under Yellow Heavy Rainfall.

Schools are encouraged to shift to modular distance learning performance tasks and projects to ensure that learning competencies are met.

Today, July 6, 2026, Rodolfo A. Medel Sr. Elementary School proudly participated in the nationwide Flag Raising Ceremony in commemoration of the 10th Anniversary of the 2016 Arbitral Award.

The ceremony served as a meaningful reminder of our shared responsibility to uphold the rule of law, support the peaceful resolution of disputes, and honor our nation's sovereignty. As an educational institution, we remain committed to nurturing learners who are informed, responsible, and deeply rooted in love for country.

Following the ceremony, the school continued its Peace Campaign in support of the Department of Education's advocacy and the National Peace Program. Through this initiative, learners were encouraged to embrace the values of Powering, Empathy, Acceptance, and Connection Every day (PEACE)—promoting understanding, respect for human rights, unity, and peaceful conflict resolution both inside and outside the classroom.
