ELNHS Learners Excel in NOCPO Youth Competitions
Learners from Emiliano Lizares National High School (ELNHS) showcased their creativity and talent during the Negros Occidental City Police Office (NOCPO) Youth Competitions held on July 31, 2026, at Kanlaon Hall, Camp Alfredo M. Montelibano Sr., Brgy. Estefania, Bacolod City. The event carried the theme, "Sa Bagong Pilipinas, ang Kabataang Mag-aaral ay Kabalikat ng PNP sa Pagsusulong ng Seguridad at Kaunlaran para sa Lahat!", highlighting the vital role of the youth in promoting peace, security, and nation-building.
ELNHS earned Third Place in the 2-Minute Video Making Contest through the collaborative efforts of Ma. Samantha Althea Monica T. Velasco (ACAD 11-A), Quia Marie C. Villarenia (ACAD 11-A), Jhonrey C. Dechilla (HUMSS 12-A), Rhea Anika A. Hernaez (HUMSS 12-A), and Apple C. Aniban (ABM 12-B). Their entry effectively reflected the contest theme by emphasizing the importance of youth participation in supporting community safety and development. The team was coached by Mrs. Karen Joy Robles-Sibug.
In the Poster Making Contest, Megan D. Lindayao (ABM 12-B) secured Second Place with an inspiring artwork that creatively conveyed the message of unity, peace, and shared responsibility in building a safer and more progressive society. She was guided by her coach, Mr. Eduardo T. Tangub, Jr.
The achievements of the ELNHS delegates reflect the school's commitment to developing learners who are not only academically competent but also socially responsible and artistically gifted. The ELNHS community extends its heartfelt congratulations to the student participants and their dedicated coaches for bringing pride and honor to the school through their outstanding performances.
