Teachers as Persons in Authority

A teacher is not just a lesson-giver.
By law and by trust, a teacher is a Person in Authority!

It means they are given the responsibility to guide, discipline, protect, and nurture.
To keep classrooms safe. To uphold values. To shape the future, one student at a time.

This authority isn’t about power. It’s about service.
Behind every reminder, every rule, every “sit down and listen” — there is care.

Let’s honor that.
When we respect our teachers, we respect learning, we respect the law, and we respect the people building the next generation.

To all teachers: Thank you for carrying this role with patience, wisdom, and heart. ♥️

Our Zero Plastic Waste Policy is more than a commitment — it’s a movement toward sustainability, responsibility, and lasting environmental impact. By reducing single-use plastics, promoting reusable alternatives, and encouraging mindful consumption, we can protect our oceans, communities, and future generations. 💚🌏

Every small action counts. Together, let’s create a world where waste is minimized and change is maximized. 🌱

Project STEEL: Spaces to Eat for Every Learner

The Supreme Secondary Learner Government created this project, STEEL, to build a safe, clean, and inclusive place to eat for every learner in Generoso Villanueva Sr. National High School Canteen. Because we know that every Gevinian deserves a seat at the dining table! 🍴🥘

The Supreme Secondary Learner Government would also like to thank the person who supported our project STEEL by donating buckets of paint and roller brushes to make our seats and tables more decent-looking. ☺️

Thank you, Sir Hans Coo Gaw Te, the owner of Westpact Hardware & Construction Supply.

Kudos to our own delegates Pres. Ralph and Sec. Aries for representing the Division of Bacolod City at LearnCon2025. God bless and more power to you both! Safe travels, too!

A total of 2,061 students across the country have joined the Learners’ Convergence Philippines (LearnCon PH) 2025 in Dumaguete City to engage in workshops and sessions aimed at empowering them to contribute to their schools and communities.

This year’s LearnCon PH is integrated with the National Career Expo (NCEx) Kick-Off for School Year 2025–2026, which aims to help develop leadership and decision-making skills among students and connect with industry, business, and school partners to explore future career opportunities.
