Commemorating the 10th Anniversary of the 2016 South China Sea Arbitral Award and the Launch of the P.E.A.C.E. Campaign ☮️

In support of the Department of Education’s initiative, R. Alunan Elementary School participated in the Simultaneous Flag Raising Ceremony in commemoration of the 10th Anniversary of the 2016 South China Sea Arbitral Award.

The activity served as a meaningful opportunity to strengthen learners’ and educators’ appreciation of patriotism, national sovereignty, unity, and respect for international law, while fostering a deeper sense of civic responsibility among members of the school community.

The ceremony also highlighted the P.E.A.C.E. Campaign—Powering Empathy, Acceptance, and Connection Everyday—which promotes a culture of empathy, inclusivity, mutual respect, and positive relationships within the school and the wider community.

Through initiatives such as these, R. Alunan Elementary School remains committed to nurturing responsible, compassionate, and values-driven learners who embody the ideals of peace, respect, and love of country.

R. Alunan Elementary School successfully conducted the 𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙚 𝙎𝙦𝙪𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙍𝙤𝙖𝙙 𝙎𝙝𝙤𝙬 in partnership with the 𝘽𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙪 𝙤𝙛 𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 (𝘽𝙁𝙋). This meaningful and interactive activity provided our learners with valuable knowledge and hands-on experience in fire safety, emergency preparedness, and the proper actions to take during fire incidents.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to 𝙎𝙁𝙊𝟏 𝙉𝙄𝘾𝙊𝙇𝙀 𝙂. 𝙈𝙀𝙇𝙊𝘾𝙊𝙏𝙊𝙉 for leading this educational program and for sharing expertise that will help keep our learners and their families safe.

R. Alunan Elementary School successfully conducted its School Program Implementation Review and Performance Assessment (SPIRPA) for Calendar Year 2026, showcasing the school's accomplishments, initiatives, and continued commitment to providing quality education and excellent services to its learners and stakeholders.

We are deeply honored and sincerely grateful for the generous visit of our beloved City Mayor, Hon. Greg Gasataya, together with Bacolod City Councilors Hon. Em Ang, Hon. Jason Villarosa, Hon.
