First Day of School and Flag Ceremony //
Bata Elementary School-1 officially welcomed learners for the first day of classes with a meaningful and orderly Flag Ceremony, marking the beginning of another exciting school year filled with learning, growth, and new opportunities.
The activity was led under the guidance of our School Head, Maβam Ma. Lyn C. BraΓ±a, PhD, and was graced by the presence of EPS-MAPEH Maβam Eden Ariola, PhD, who conducted school monitoring to ensure a smooth opening of classes.
We also commend our dedicated SELG Officers for facilitating the flag ceremony with confidence, leadership, and responsibility, setting a positive example for their fellow learners.
As we embark on this new academic journey, may we continue to work together in creating a safe, inclusive, and learner-centered environment for all.

BRIGADA ESKWELA 2026 CULMINATION PROGRAM

The Brigada Eskwela 2026 Culmination Program of Bata Elementary School-1 was successfully conducted on June 5, 2026, signifying the completion of the week-long school maintenance, preparation, and stakeholder engagement activities in preparation for the opening of classes for School Year 2026β2027.
The activity commenced with Part I: Parentsβ Orientation at 8:00 AM, facilitated by Maβam Analie V. Estilo, Teacher III. Parents were oriented on important school policies, programs, learner welfare, and the vital role of parents in supporting the educational journey of their children. The orientation strengthened the partnership between the school and the home in ensuring quality education for all learners.
At 9:00 AM, Part II: Closing Program formally began. The program opened with the singing of the National Anthem led by Sir Kenneth M. Bretania, Teacher I, followed by a Thanksgiving Prayer delivered by Maβam Marichu V. Perial, Teacher I, invoking gratitude for the successful implementation of Brigada Eskwela and the blessings received throughout the activity.
An inspiring Opening Remarks was delivered by Sir Paquito V. Melitado, Teachersβ League President, who acknowledged the dedication and collective efforts of the schoolβs stakeholders, volunteers, parents, teachers, and community partners.
The Presentation of Accomplishments was spearheaded by Maβam Emelita C. Diva, Brigada Eskwela Coordinator, highlighting the various accomplishments achieved during the implementation of Brigada Eskwela 2026. She presented the improvements made in school facilities, cleaning and repair activities, donations received, and the collaborative efforts of stakeholders that contributed to the success of the program.
The Acceptance of Outputs and Donations was led by Dr. Ma. Lyn C. BraΓ±a, Principal III, who formally received the outputs, materials, and generous contributions from stakeholders and partners. She expressed her sincere gratitude for their unwavering support and commitment to the schoolβs development.
One of the highlights of the program was the Distribution of School Bags to Grade 1 and Grade 2 pupils through the generosity of the Gokongwei Group of Companies. The distribution brought joy and excitement to the young learners while helping provide them with essential school supplies for the upcoming school year.
The Testimonies of Stakeholders were delivered by Mrs. Mary Joy De Oro, SPTA President, and Hon. Remus A. Abaring, Punong Barangay of Barangay Bata,represented by Barangay Bata Admin , Mr. Ruel Alarcon . Both speakers emphasized the importance of community involvement and reaffirmed their commitment to supporting educational programs and initiatives that benefit the learners of Bata Elementary School-1.
The Distribution of Certificates was facilitated by Maβam Emelita C. Diva, Brigada Eskwela Coordinator, together with Dr. Ma. Lyn C. BraΓ±a, Principal III. Certificates of Appreciation were awarded to stakeholders, volunteers, organizations, and partners in recognition of their invaluable contributions and support during Brigada Eskwela 2026.
The Closing Remarks was delivered by Maβam . Ma. Luna S. Paglomutan, Teachersβ League Vice President, who thanked all stakeholders, volunteers, teachers, parents, and community partners for their active participation and support. She emphasized that the success of Brigada Eskwela is a testament to the spirit of bayanihan and collective responsibility in providing a safe and conducive learning environment for all learners.
Part III followed with the Homeroom Orientation, where class advisers met with parents and guardians to discuss classroom policies, learning expectations, and important school matters for the opening of classes.
The entire program was efficiently hosted by Sir Paul A. Alvarez, Teacher IV, who served as the Master of Ceremony and ensured the smooth flow of the event.
The successful conduct of the Brigada Eskwela 2026 Culmination Program demonstrated the strong partnership among the school, parents, stakeholders, local government officials, private organizations, and the community. Through unity, cooperation, and shared responsibility, Bata Elementary School-1 is fully prepared to welcome learners for another productive and meaningful school year.
