Militante of PDA-National and Bacolod City Chapter PDA Pres Dr. Dianne Lim Militante in collaboration with Brigada Eskwela and Handumanan National High School, proudly conducted ๐๐‘๐Ž๐‰๐„๐‚๐“ ๐“.๐„.๐„.๐.๐’.โ€” an educational initiative aimed at empowering junior high school students to become advocates for proper nutrition and oral health.

This project focused on teaching students the importance of balanced nutrition and good oral hygiene practices to promote healthy lifestyles and confident smiles. By equipping teens with knowledge and skills, The PDA team promotes oral health education with toothbrushing and fluoride session to over 200 Handumanians! Project T.E.E.N.S. hopes to create a ripple effect in the community where young advocates educate their families and peers.

Handumanan National High School successfully conducted the Brigada Eskwela activity with a theme "Sama-sama para sa Bayang Bumabasa," promoting unity and community collaboration.

Earlier today at 3:00 PM, the school hosted a Symposia on General Health at the HNHS Mini Gym, with Resource Speaker Dr. Rosalie G. Deocampo leading the session. The event involved several Grade 11 and 12 students in meaningful discussions on health and wellness, highlighting the school's dedication to comprehensive education and the well-being of its students.

As we welcome the start of School Year 2025โ€“2026, Handumanan National High School proudly stands with Barangay Handumanan, led by Hon. Ma. Febe F. Legaspi and the Barangay Council, in the fight against dengue. On June 15, 2025, the barangay council took action to prepare and clean our campuses, ensuring safe, mosquito-free, and healthy learning environments for all our students.

With the inspiring theme, "Sama-Sama Para Sa Bayang Bumabasa," students, teachers, parents, and community members united to prepare and improve the school facilities, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment for all. This collaborative effort highlights the importance of community involvement in fostering a culture of reading and academic excellence.
