The University of Negros Occidental–Recoletos (UNO-R) humbly shared its ETEEAP journey since 2002 during the the seminar-workshop organized by the Commission on Higher Education Regional Offices VI and XVIII on ETEEAP and Open, Distance, and e-Learning (ODeL) capacity building.

The presentation was delivered by Ms. Rowela Javier, ETEEAP Director, who highlighted UNO-R’s best practices in implementing the program. She was joined by Rev. Fr. Romeo Ben Potencio Jr., OAR, Vice President for Academic and Research, and Ms. Zilla Rozzi Javier, Quality Assurance–Compliance Officer.

UNO-R emphasized that it remains the only higher education institution offering ETEEAP for the BS in Criminology in the Negros Island Region and its graduates have achieved a 100% passing rate in the Criminologist Licensure Examination from 2017 to 2025—a testament to the university’s strong mentoring and academic support for working professionals.
