Bound not only by duty, but by brotherhood, honor, and sacrifice, the Graduating Class of 2025โ2026 of the 824th Naval Reserve Officersโ Training Corps Unit, John B. Lacson Colleges Foundation โ Bacolod, proudly carries the name ๐๐๐๐๐๐ โ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ โ a batch forged through hardships, strengthened by discipline, and remembered for its unwavering spirit.
They stood as more than officers in rank. They became pillars of leadership, guardians of tradition, and living examples of what it truly means to serve with integrity and purpose.
Throughout their reign as 1st Class Officers, they led with courage in moments of uncertainty, remained steadfast during trials, and carried the burden of responsibility with pride and resilience. They trained with discipline, served with humility, and inspired with actions louder than words. Their legacy was never measured by recognition alone, but by the lives they shaped, the standards they upheld, and the spirit they ignited within the corps.
They marched through challenges not as individuals, but as one unit โ united by loyalty, strengthened by adversity, and driven by a commitment greater than themselves. Every command given, every sacrifice endured, and every lesson passed on became part of a legacy that future batches will look back on with honor.
Now, as they render their final salute and take their last march within the grounds of the corps, they leave behind footprints that time will never erase. The name ๐๐๐๐๐๐ โ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ will forever echo within the history of the 824th NROTC Unit โ not only as a batch that endured, but as a batch that conquered.
May the seas ahead guide them toward greatness.
May discipline continue to anchor their souls.
And may their hearts forever remain devoted to service, leadership, God, and country.

The 824th NROTC Unit proudly conducted the MS2 & CWTS Graduation Ceremony, marking a significant milestone in the journey of its cadets and students. The event commenced with the solemn Entrance of Colors, setting a tone of honor, respect, and tradition that resonates deeply within the corps.
This momentous occasion celebrated not only the completion of academic and training requirements but also the transformation of individuals into disciplined, responsible, and service-oriented citizens. Behind every graduate stands a story of perseveranceโof early formations, demanding drills, and lessons that shaped both character and leadership.
The ceremony was further honored by the presence of the distinguished guest speaker, ENGR. SYLVINO V. TUPAS, Ph.D., whose inspiring words reminded the graduates of their duty to lead with integrity, serve with purpose, and carry forward the values instilled in them throughout their training.
Each graduate stood as a testament to dedication and growth, having embraced challenges and emerged stronger, more confident, and united. Their journey reflects not only personal achievement but also the collective strength of a corps built on discipline, teamwork, and excellence.
More than just a graduation, this event symbolizes a new beginningโwhere knowledge meets responsibility, and training transforms into service. To our graduates, carry with you the lessons, the values, and the pride of being part of the 824th NROTC Unit.
Stand tall and move forward with honorโfor you have not only completed a chapter, but have also begun a lifelong commitment to excellence and service.

Today, April 9, 2026, we pause to honor the true meaning of courage on Araw ng Kagitinganโa courage that lives not only in history, but in the heart of every Filipino.
It is the quiet strength to endure, the selfless will to serve, and the deep love for our country that asks for nothing in return. Our heroes did not stand for recognitionโthey stood for something greater than themselves: the freedom, dignity, and future of our nation.
Now, that same spirit rests in us. In the choices we make, in how we serve others, and in how we carry our identity as Filipinos with pride. Patriotism is not only rememberedโit is lived.
May we never forget what it means to stand for our country.
