Bound not only by duty, but by brotherhood, honor, and sacrifice, the Graduating Class of 2025–2026 of the 824th Naval Reserve Officers’ Training Corps Unit, John B. Lacson Colleges Foundation – Bacolod, proudly carries the name 𝐁𝐀𝐆𝐒𝐈𝐊 – 𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐘𝐀 — a batch forged through hardships, strengthened by discipline, and remembered for its unwavering spirit.

They stood as more than officers in rank. They became pillars of leadership, guardians of tradition, and living examples of what it truly means to serve with integrity and purpose.

Throughout their reign as 1st Class Officers, they led with courage in moments of uncertainty, remained steadfast during trials, and carried the burden of responsibility with pride and resilience. They trained with discipline, served with humility, and inspired with actions louder than words. Their legacy was never measured by recognition alone, but by the lives they shaped, the standards they upheld, and the spirit they ignited within the corps.

They marched through challenges not as individuals, but as one unit — united by loyalty, strengthened by adversity, and driven by a commitment greater than themselves. Now, as they render their final salute and take their last march within the grounds of the corps, they leave behind footprints that time will never erase. The 824th NROTC Unit proudly conducted the MS2 & CWTS Graduation Ceremony, marking a significant milestone in the journey of its cadets and students. The event commenced with the solemn Entrance of Colors, setting a tone of honor, respect, and tradition that resonates deeply within the corps.

This momentous occasion celebrated not only the completion of academic and training requirements but also the transformation of individuals into disciplined, responsible, and service-oriented citizens. Behind every graduate stands a story of perseverance—of early formations, demanding drills, and lessons that shaped both character and leadership.

The ceremony was further honored by the presence of the distinguished guest speaker, ENGR. SYLVINO V. TUPAS, Ph.D., whose inspiring words reminded the graduates of their duty to lead with integrity, serve with purpose, and carry forward the values instilled in them throughout their training.

Each graduate stood as a testament to dedication and growth, having embraced challenges and emerged stronger, more confident, and united. Their journey reflects not only personal achievement but also the collective strength of a corps built on discipline, teamwork, and excellence.

8th 𝐃𝐑𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐃𝐀𝐘 ⚓️
On March 14, 2026, the 824th NROTC Unit of John B. Lacson Colleges Foundation–Bacolod successfully conducted its 8th Drill Day for Military Science 2, S.Y. 2025–2026. The activity was led by M/CDR Ewin Jr S Joven O-1CL, Vice-Corps Commander, who served as Brigade Commander of the Day. The event was guided and supervised by the Training Staff: ASN Reynald B Perez (PN), Assistant Training Staff: SN1 Gee Louie A Divinagracia (PN)(Res), PO3 Aldrin T Sarzona (PN)(Res), MSgt Ludovico P Lescano Jr (PN)(M)(Ret), and SMS Oscar Politico N. (PN)(M)(Ret)(Res), NSTP Coordinator: Mr Jefferson D Guido MSCRIM.

The morning colors and a pastoral activity started off the day. The cadets moved on to their individual training exercises following the ceremony. While some cadets rehearsed their drills, others trained with MSgt Ludovico P. Lescano Jr. (PN)(M)(Ret) to conduct weapon assembly and disassembly exercises. In the meantime, SMS Oscar Politico N (PN)(M)(Ret)(Res) gave a lecture to other cadets where they learned important training-associated information and instruction.
