Emiliano Lizares National High School celebrated English and Reading Month on December 4, 2025, at the ELNHS Gymnasium, with the theme "Restoring Hope Through Reading: Healing with Words." Despite weather-related delays, the school community came together to highlight the power of literature.

Despite the challenges, students and faculty came together to create a vibrant and inspiring culmination of literary activities. ELNHS learners proudly showcased their artistry, each vividly representing chosen themes through creative costumes and performances. This celebration was made possible through the collaborative efforts of The Quill (SHS) and the Literary Guild (JHS) English Clubs, under the guidance of their dedicated advisers, Ma'am Marlah Alipat and Ma'am Rica Lautrizo, and with the unwavering support of all the English teachers at ELNHS, ensuring the activity was meaningful, successful, and memorable.

On August 29, ELNHS proudly joined the Buwan ng Wika celebration, showcasing the vibrant spirit of Filipino culture through a lively photo booth filled with traditional attire, colorful smiles, and heartfelt unity. 🇵🇭✨ Together, we honored our language, heritage, and identity—truly embodying isang wika, isang lahi, isang diwa! These photos capture not just moments, but the pride and passion that connect us all.

This legacy was celebrated by The Quill S.Y 2025-2026, English Club (SHS) of Emiliano Lizares National High School. On July 25, 2025. An oath-taking ceremony, attended by representatives from various school organizations spearheaded by the SSLG council. The newly elected officers including their committees, solemnly affirmed their dedication to the club's mission. This significant event, guided by Ma'am Marlah, marked the successful start of the new academic year, promising to cultivate a deeper appreciation for literature and enhancing English proficiency within the school. A refined reception followed, strengthening camaraderie and reaffirming the club's unity.
