𝗔 𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗞 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗚𝗢𝗗 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗦 | 𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑶𝒖𝒓 𝑭𝒂𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒊𝒏 𝑮𝒐𝒅 ❤️‍🩹

“𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙡𝙮, 𝙛𝙖𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙨 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙜𝙚, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙙 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩.”

—Romans 10:17

Faith is not something that becomes stronger overnight. Like any relationship, our relationship with God grows through 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲, 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆, and 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁. It requires us to know Him more, listen to His Word, and allow His presence to become part of our everyday lives.

There may be days when our faith feels strong, but there may also be moments when we feel distant, distracted, or uncertain. We may become too busy with school, responsibilities, and personal concerns that we forget to make time for God.

𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝗛𝗶𝗺.

When we spend time reading His Word, we learn more about His character, His promises, and His love for us. When we pray, we open our hearts to Him. When we worship, we remember that He is worthy even in seasons we do not fully understand.

Building a stronger relationship with God does not always require grand actions. Sometimes, it begins with a simple prayer before starting the day, a few minutes spent reading the Scripture, or a quiet moment of gratitude in prayer before going to sleep.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗹𝘆, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗛𝗶𝗺 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 ❤️‍🔥

As we hear and reflect on the word of God, may our 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗿, 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗛𝗶𝗺, not only when life is easy, but also when challenges come.

There are moments when our struggles can make us feel like we're facing everything on our own. We may not know what to do, where to go, or how things will turn out. Sometimes, the uncertainty itself can become exhausting. But even in those moments, 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲.

He goes before us, walks with us, and reminds us that we don't have to face our struggles alone. When we feel afraid or discouraged, we can hold on to the assurance that His presence remains with us even when life feels uncertain.

𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀, 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵.

So when things become overwhelming, 𝗽𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳: 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲. Take things one step at a time. Do what you can, pray about what you cannot control, and trust God to guide you through the rest.

You don't have to figure everything out today. Some answers may come later, and some situations may take time to change. What matters is that you continue moving forward while trusting the One who already knows the way. 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, and a difficult season does not mean you are walking through it alone.

𝗔 𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗞 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗚𝗢𝗗 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗦 | 𝑶𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒈𝒈𝒍𝒆𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒔 ❤️‍🩹

Life is not always a smooth journey. Sometimes, it feels like one challenge comes after another. Academic pressures, personal struggles, responsibilities, uncertainties, and the expectations we place on ourselves. We keep moving because we feel like we have to, even when deep inside we are already tired.

We often convince ourselves that we need to have everything figured out. We compare our progress with others, worry about what comes next, and become afraid that we are not doing enough. In the middle of all these worries, it can be easy to forget that 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴.

John 16:33 reminds us, “𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂, 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲. 𝗜𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁; 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱.”

Jesus never promised that we would live without struggles. He acknowledged that there would be tribulation. But He also gave us a promise that is greater than our circumstances: 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗶𝗺 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗛𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱.

Sometimes, overcoming a struggle does not mean that everything suddenly becomes easy. Sometimes, it simply means finding the strength to get up again, the courage to keep going, and the faith to trust God even when we cannot see what comes next.

As the 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗺 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘄 𝗻𝗲𝗮𝗿, we may be feeling the pressure to perform, the fear of disappointing ourselves, or the exhaustion that comes with trying to balance everything at once. There may be sleepless nights, overwhelming requirements, and moments when we question whether we are prepared enough.

𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵.

You have made it this far. Keep studying, keep doing your best, and give yourself grace along the way. You do not have to carry the weight of everything at once. 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆 when you feel overwhelmed. 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘁 when you need to. 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 that God sees every effort, every late night, every silent prayer, and every moment when you choose to keep going.

𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗱𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗮𝘆.

So whatever you may be facing today, 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁. Bring your worries to God. 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 what you cannot control. 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗛𝗶𝗺 through the process, even when you cannot yet see how things will turn out.

Because sometimes, the victory is not found in having everything under control. Sometimes, it is found in choosing to keep your faith when life feels beyond your control.

Everyone is advised to 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗮 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝘀𝗸 when going outside as haze levels are 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗱 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆.

According to the 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀 - 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘂 (𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗥-𝗘𝗠𝗕), the haze affecting parts of the Philippines is associated with smoke and transboundary haze from ongoing 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗻, 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗮. The smoke is being carried toward parts of the country by the prevailing 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵𝘄𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗼𝗻 (𝗛𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘁), affecting several areas across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

Bacolod City is among the areas where air quality has reached an '𝘂𝗻𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽𝘀' level, with the situation being closely monitored by the DENR-EMB.

Ngayong araw, pinararangalan natin ang tapang at sakripisyo ng bawat Pilipinong nagbigay-daan sa ating kalayaan—mula sa sigaw ng Pugad Lawin hanggang sa mga labanang hindi naisulat sa kasaysayan.

Ayon sa 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗮𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗮 𝗕𝗹𝗴. 𝟵𝟰𝟵𝟮 𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗸𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘀𝘆𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗹𝗴. 𝟭𝟭𝟬𝟳, ito ay isang pambansang araw ng pahinga upang gunitain ang ating mga bayani—kilala man o hindi, lahat sila'y may mahalagang bahagi sa kalayaang tinatamasa natin ngayon.

𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚 𝐤𝐚 𝐧𝐚 𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐤𝐢 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐮𝐛𝐨𝐠 𝐬𝐚 𝐤𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐭𝐚𝐲𝐨?

“𝑾𝒊𝒌𝒂.” Isang simpleng salita, ngunit ito ang naging susi sa ating pagkakakilanlan. Sa bawat salitang ating naipapasa, may kuwentong dala—kasaysayan, tradisyon, at mga bagay na nag-uugnay sa atin bilang isang bansang may iisang diwa.

Sa tuwing ginagamit natin ang wikang Filipino, naipapakita natin ang tunay na halaga ng ating kultura. Hindi lamang ito simpleng paraan ng pakikipag-usap, kundi simbolo ng pagkakaisa at pagiging Pilipino.

Sa patuloy na pag-usbong ng Artificial Intelligence (AI), nagkaroon tayo ng makabagong kasangkapan para sa pananaliksik at pagkatuto. Sa tulong ng teknolohiya, mas napapadali ang pag-access sa impormasyon at nagkakaroon tayo ng mas maraming paraan upang matuto, magsaliksik, at higit na maunawaan ang yaman ng ating kalinangan.

Ngunit sa kabila ng mabilis na pag-unlad ng teknolohiya, huwag nating kalimutan ang mga bagay na tunay na bumubuo sa atin—𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗸𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗹𝗮𝗻, 𝘄𝗶𝗸𝗮, 𝗸𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻, 𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗸𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻. Maaaring maging katuwang natin ang AI sa pananaliksik at pagkatuto, ngunit hindi nito dapat palitan ang sariling ideya, sariling tinig, at kakayahang lumikha.

Sapagkat sa mundong patuloy na umuunlad, mahalagang marunong tayong sumabay sa teknolohiya nang hindi kinakalimutan ang sariling atin. Gamitin natin ang AI bilang kasangkapan, ngunit panatilihin nating buhay ang ating sariling tinig bilang mga Pilipino.

𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐀𝐏 | 𝙑𝙤𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙨 | 𝘽𝙖𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙙 𝙉𝙚𝙭𝙪𝙨 𝘼𝙧𝙩 & 𝙏𝙚𝙘𝙝 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣

Representatives from the BSP Negros Occidental Council and BSP Bacolod City Council gathered students from STI WEST NEGROS UNIVERSITY for a meaningful youth forum on leadership and parliamentary procedure last August 23, 2026.

Eagle Scout Alagos opened the discussion by emphasizing that leadership starts now, not in adulthood—and that every leader, whether speaker or listener, has a place in the youth forum. He reminded us that "𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗻𝗲" and that this platform is the highest gathering of young voices.

Eagle Scout Villarin followed by explaining parliamentary procedure, stressing that every decision matters and that 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹.

Eagle Scout Argullion tackled the concept of motions, using a pizza or burger example to show that we must "𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲—𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻."

Eagle Scout Alarcon then led a simulation on the use of AI in Academic Settings, applying all the lessons into a hands-on experience. The session was presided by;

The affirmative side argued that AI is a tool to help students learn, not a replacement—"𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗔𝗜 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴." The negative side raised concerns about diminishing macro skills and the reliability of information.

As the BSP NOC & BCC representative reminded us: "𝗟𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽. The 𝟓𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐍 𝐃𝐚𝐲 celebration reminds us that our strength lies not in our differences but in our shared vision of a united and progressive Southeast Asia. With the theme "𝐍𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞, 𝐓𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫.", we gathered not just to crown title holders but to celebrate voices that inspire, leaders who rise, and individuals who prove that the ASEAN spirit lives in every dream pursued and every barrier broken.

This year's competition has once again proven that excellence knows no borders. We are proud to present the official winners of 𝗠𝗿. 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝘀. 𝗔𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗡 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲. The reigning titleholders are 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗘. 𝐃𝗮𝘀𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗩. 𝗢𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘀, who also took home the Special Award for 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. The 1𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀-𝗨𝗽 are 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝘇𝗲𝗹 𝗟𝗼𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀 and 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗮𝗻, with Lory also winning the 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗺𝗲 award. The 2𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀-𝗨𝗽 are 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗝𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗲 and 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗔. 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮, while the Special Award for 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗲𝗮𝗿 was given 𝗔𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗲𝗹 𝗕. 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗮

During the Q&A portion of the competition, our winners delivered answers that moved everyone in the room. When asked about the legacy she would leave as a titleholder, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗔𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗡 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗜𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗩. 𝗢𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘀 answered,
