Dr. Bi Chin Uy Learning Resource Center - Trinity Christian School Library

In celebration of the 91st National Book Week, the Learning Resource Center held and sponsored an outreach program for Angela Gonzaga National High School (AGNHS) Grade 7 students on December 2. The program aimed to encourage reading, enhance literacy skills, and foster a deeper appreciation of library resources. It included engaging activities that captured students’ interest in books and learning, while providing hands-on experiences that highlighted the library’s importance as a key educational resource.

This National Book Week 2025, high school students celebrated Booktivity 2025 through a day of fun and meaningful activities. Highlights included a musical play "Books Come Alive" featuring the Glee Club as singers, the Zion Dance Club as dancers, the Bookworms as storytellers, and the JHS Outreach Club handling the stage backdrop and props.

We are grateful to all the participants of the Book Character Costume and Impersonation Contests, Digital Book Cover Contest, and the Rainbow Rumble Challenge, who gave their best in every activity. The event highlighted the joy of reading and the power of books to inform, inspire, and transform lives. With this year’s theme, “Tulay ang Pagbasa sa Bukas na Puno ng Pag-asa,” reading truly serves as a bridge to knowledge, creativity, and lifelong learning—shaping minds and building futures. Today, we give thanks to God as we remember and honor the courage and sacrifices of our heroes who fought for the freedom we now enjoy. As we commemorate the 127th year of Philippine independence, may we be inspired to live out the values of democracy, unity, and love for our country—grounded in faith, hope, and service.

May we continue to be stewards of the freedom God has blessed us with, embracing our rich heritage and the God-given strength that defines us as a people.
