KAPAWA Announcement I ♻🌱 Environmental Stewardship in Action! 🌱♻

"RECYCLED PLASTIC BOTTLES ONLY – NO TRASH" 🚯

In line with our strong commitment to environmental advocacy and sustainable practices, the Community Extension and Development (CED) Office – KAPAWA has installed eco-friendly recycling bins at the following locations around the VMA Main Campus: Canteen, Clinic Grounds, and CED – KAPAWA Office (Outside).

These bins are designated specifically for collecting used plastic bottled water containers, helping promote proper waste segregation and reduce plastic pollution. This project strongly supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), particularly SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, by fostering responsible waste management practices through collaborative partnerships.

This initiative is part of our ongoing partnership with Basic Environmental Systems and Technologies (BEST), Inc. and BeepXtra Philippines, Inc., under programs such as the Solid Waste Management Program and Trash to Cashback Program — aiming to reduce, reuse, and recycle for a cleaner, greener future. 🌍💚

Let’s work together to make VMA a model of responsible citizenship and long-term sustainability.
