The De La Salle Brothers Inc. has partnered with the Diocese of Marbel - Social Action Center to launch Operation Uplift, which is dedicated to bringing immediate aid, hope, and recovery to the affected communities.
The Diocese of Marbel encompasses General Santos City, South Cotabato, and Sarangani, which are the closest to the epicenter of the magnitude 7.8 earthquake.

Last May 25, 2026, at CSL 11, the Office for Student Affairs (OSA), in partnership with USGโCOA and other university offices, conducted the Leadership Skills and Enhancement Session (LSES) 1 to equip and strengthen treasurers with essential financial knowledge and leadership capacity.
The session featured resource speakers from the Procurement Services Office and Business Office who delivered technical guidance and practical applications. In addition, the USGโCOA Chairperson, Shany Mae Lareza, emphasized the Commissionโs functions and underscored its vital role in advancing transparency and accountability in the financial transactions of student organizations.
Carrying the theme โShow Me the Funds: Financial Processes, Forms, and Flow,โ the session wrapped up by boosting treasurersโ skills, encouraging responsible stewardship, and reinforcing compliance with university financial guidelines.
