MTV Video Making Contest & Photography Contest | MECHANICS
๐ The schedule of competition / presentation is on September 26, 2025 (8:00AMโ3:00 PM).
๐The contest is open to all Baco National High School SHS Sections ( Grade 11- Grade 12 )
And JHS Sections
๐Each interested section should submit at least 1 entry in any of the following category.
๐Duration of the video will be 3 โ 6 minutes, including introduction and credits. (For every 15 seconds overtime, there shall be a deduction of 5 point from the total score.)
๐The following are the category and the music that will be used:
๐ฌLove of Parents โ โHindi Sapatโ by Gloc 9 (Grade 12 only)
๐ฌLGBTQ Respect โ โItuloy Mo Langโ by Siakol (Grade 12 Only)
๐ฌBullying โ โKatulad ng Ibaโ by Gloc (Open for All Grade Level)
๐ฌOpen Category โ ( any video with social issues/awareness campaignโ) (Open for all SHS Sections)

โ๏ธThere is no limit to the number of the members who will appear on the music video.
โ๏ธAny kind of interpretation to the chosen song is allowed (e.g. Lip sync, own interpretation).
โ๏ธTechnical assistance from professional and non-professional person outside the school is prohibited, assistance from the adviser or any faculty is allowed.
โ๏ธAny kind of multimedia software is allowed to be used.
โ๏ธFinal output should be submitted in MP4 format.
โ๏ธSubmission of entries is on or before September 26, 2025 (12:00 pm) only.
โ๏ธCriteria for judging:
a. Creativity - 30%
b. Audio and Visual Quality - 30%
c. Props, Costume and Location - 20%
d. Visual Effects - 20%

SCI-MA-TECH PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST MECHANICS
โ๏ธ THEME: โInnovating the Future: Uniting Science, Mathematics, and Technology for a Brighter Tomorrowโ
โ๏ธ DURATION: It will be held on September 23, 2025 1:00pm-3:30pm at Baco National High School.
โ๏ธ PARTICIPANTS: The contest is OPEN to all Baco National High School (Grade 7-12). Strictly maximum one (1) participants per section only.
โ๏ธ SUBMISSION OF ENTRIES: Each participant is allowed to submit a maximum of ONE (1) entry only.
โ๏ธ DEADLINE of submission is September 15,2025 1:00pm-3:30pm. The submission will automatically close and reject any entries that will be submitted after the deadline.
โ๏ธ The entry to be submitted should be an image/photo with a corresponding โphoto titleโ and โphoto captionโ. The caption must indicate the place where the image was taken, and must have an accurate description of what the photo is about.
โ๏ธ The contest participant is responsible for securing โ prior to submission of the entry โ consent from concerned parties if the image contains any material or element that is not the participantโs property, or if any person appears in the photo (i.e. subjects of the photo). Sci-Ma-Tech should not โ in any way โ be held responsible for the contest participantโs inability to secure the necessary permission or consent for their submitted entries.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Photographs should be:
โข Created and taken by the contest participant.
โข Created and taken using a mobile devices like smartphones and tablets.
โข In full color.
โข In LANDSCAPE orientation.
โข Softcopy of Pictures should be be submitted in JPEG Format together with Separate Text file That will include the Title and Caption of the Picture.
โข Taken using the best settings of the mobile device.
โข Taken from September 23, 2025 1:00pm-3:30pm.
Photographs should NOT:
โข Contain watermarks or any identifying mark.
โข Violate personโs rights, including, but not limited to copyrights and privacy.
โข Previously submitted or won in any photography contest.
โ๏ธ The criteria for judging will be as follows:
Adherence to the Theme: 25%
Composition: 25%
Photographic Quality: 25%
Visual Impact: 25%
โ๏ธAll entries must be pre-numbered. No other identifying marks will be allowed to appear in the artworks.
โ๏ธ Winning and all other entries shall be the property of the Sci-Ma-Tech and will be posted on BNHS Page right away after the competition on September 23, 2025 -4:00pm
โ๏ธ The decisions of the appointed judges will be final. but
โ๏ธBy joining this competition, the participants agree with the mechanics of this contest and all the provisions provided.
