A proud moment for the Mathematics Department as we celebrate Meera J. Obra and Althea Zeianah L. Belleza for earning the Bronze Award in the PhIMO 2026 Heat Round. 🥉

As Grade 10 STE students of Bacnotan National High School (BNHS), they have demonstrated not only strong analytical skills but also resilience and commitment in the face of challenging mathematical problems. Their achievement is a reflection of countless hours of preparation and a genuine love for mathematics.

𝓜𝓪𝓽𝓱, 𝓕𝓾𝓷, 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓓𝓲𝓼𝓬𝓸𝓿𝓮𝓻𝔂: 𝓑𝓝𝓗𝓢 𝓪𝓽 80

As part of the BNHS 80th Foundation Day Celebration, the Mathematics Club proudly presented the Math Booth and Math Exhibit, bringing together fun, creativity, and learning in one exciting experience. Students and visitors enjoyed a variety of interactive games such as the Matching Bottle Game, Balance the Coin Challenge, and the Rubik’s Cube Competition, where participants tested their logic, observation, and problem-solving skills while winning exciting prizes.

The Math Exhibit also showcased creative mathematics manipulatives, innovative projects from Junior High School students, and interactive displays that highlight how mathematics is applied in everyday life. Through these engaging activities and displays, the event aimed to inspire learners to see mathematics not only as a subject in the classroom but also as a powerful and meaningful tool in real-world situations.

The photos from the event capture the happy faces and excitement of students as they visited the exhibit and enthusiastically participated in the booth activities. Their smiles reflect the joy of learning, discovering, and challenging themselves through different math games and displays.

Indeed, the Math Booth and Math Exhibit became a vibrant space where curiosity, critical thinking, and collaboration came alive—proving that mathematics can truly be fun, creative, and exciting as BNHS celebrates 80 years of learning, excellence, and community.

𝑴𝒂𝒕𝒉 𝑷𝒂𝒔𝒊𝒌𝒂𝒕: 𝑸𝒖𝒊𝒛 𝑩𝒆𝒆 2026

The Math Pasikat Quiz Bee 2026 successfully brought together learners from different grade levels in a friendly yet challenging academic competition. Each section was represented by three students, all of whom bravely showcased their knowledge, skills, and love for Mathematics.

Every participant is already a winner for stepping out of their comfort zone and representing their class with confidence and determination.
