The Local Government Unit of Bacnotan successfully conducted the Intensive Journalism Enhancement Program and Bacnotan Schools Press Conference on November 12–14 at the 3rd Floor, Bacnotan Public Market, carrying the theme “From Readers to Leaders: Hataw sa Campus Journalism" in Celebration of Reading Month. The three-day activity gathered 400 young campus journalists from various schools across the municipality.

‎Paratong Elementary School proudly emerged as one of the top-performing schools after its learners showcased outstanding journalistic skills across multiple categories in both English and Filipino.

‎In the English Category, the school clinched impressive wins:
