BNHS Senior Scouts actively participated in the year-round clean-up drive program in the school campus last Friday August 15, 2025. The activity was being conducted every Friday after the flag retreat with the supervision of adult leaders. This aims to promote cleanliness and hygiene, encourage environmental responsibility, instill discipline and build teamwork and community spirit.

There are more than 60 Senior Scouts participated the activity. My snappiest salute to everyone!

Baao District Senior Scouts actively participated in Zumba Kontra Droga and conducted Clean-Up Drive activity on August 15, 2025 at Baao Municipal Ground

Senior Scouts in Baao District helps in promoting health and wellness while advocating for a drug-free lifestyle through physical activity and community service. We would also like to strengthen youth involvement in environmental stewarship.

Scouts showed high energy and enthusiasm during the Zumba session. This activity raised awareness about the importance of a drug-free, healthy, and clean lifestyle

The clean-up drive collected over 10 bags of trash, significantly improving the cleanliness of the municipal grounds. It also Strengthened inter-school camaraderie and community collaboration.

Nearly 6,000 Scouts Gather for 2025 Regional Scout Jamboree in Ligao City

Around 6,000 scouts from various councils across the Bicol Region gathered for the 2025 Bicol Regional Scouts Jamboree at the Albay Provincial Campsite in Basag, Ligao City on March 5.

The five-day event, running from March 5-9, 2025, aims to promote leadership, teamwork, and survival skills among young scouts.

Participants came from various councils, including Catanduanes, Masbate, Iriga, Naga, Sorsogon, Camarines Sur, Camarines Norte, Ligao, Legazpi, and Mayon, fostering camaraderie and service.

The program also recognized outstanding individuals, presented by CSE Arjhay Q. Alperez of Mayon (Albay) Council.

Gilbert T. Sadsad, Regional Director of DepEd Region V, in his talk highlighted the importance of scouting in holistic youth development.

Glenda O. Bongao, Acting Governor of Albay, encouraged scouts to develop hard work, perseverance, and patience, despite the challenges of modern life while Fernando V. Gonzalez, Ligao City Mayor, emphasized environmental preservation in his speech

Senior Scout Myko Jed Del Valle, a 2024 Ten Outstanding Boy Scouts (TOBS) Awardee, shared his inspiring journey in scouting, motivating young participants to strive for excellence.

Meanwhile, Atty. Charls Mark B. Parcia, BSP Vice-President for Luzon and 1998 TOBS Awardee, reminded scouts to become responsible leaders and positive role models in their communities.

Noel E. Rosal, BSP Bicol Region Chairperson and Camp Chief, formally declared the 2025 Bicol Regional Scouts Jamboree open.

One of the symbolic parts of the opening program was the Entrance of the 2025 Bicol Regional Jamboree Flag, symbolizing the unity and shared mission of all participating scouts.

The event launched a series of engaging activities designed to enhance leadership skills, emergency preparedness, and community service, preparing young scouts for future responsibilities.

The event continues to uphold scouting values, reinforcing service, camaraderie, and character-building, ensuring that the youth develop into responsible citizens and contributors to society.
