𝗣𝗔𝗚𝗗𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗪𝗔𝗡𝗚 | 𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗞𝗮𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗶

𝗜𝗸𝗮-𝟭𝟵 𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝘂𝗻𝘆𝗼 𝟭𝟴𝟲𝟭 ng isilang ang ating pambansang bayani na si 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗼 𝗥𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗼 𝗬 𝗔𝗹𝗼𝗻𝘇𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮. Ang araw na ito ay hindi lamang pag-alala sa kanyang kapanganakan, bagkus ay isang pagkakataon upang kilalanin ang kanyang mga papel sa kalayaan, edukasyon, at paghubog ng kamalayang Pilipino.

Kilala si 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗥𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗹 mula sa kaniyang akdang 𝑵𝒐𝒍𝒊 𝑴𝒆 𝑻𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒓𝒆 at 𝑬𝒍 𝑭𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒃𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒎𝒐 na nagmulat sa kamalayan ng mga mamayan mula sa pang-aalipusta ng mga dayuhan. Ito ay patunay na ang edukasyon, panitikan, at kaalaman ay isang kayamanang hindi kailanman mananakaw sa atin–ito ang sandatang hindi matatawaran ng anumang dahas.

Sa pagdiriwang ng kanyang kaarawan, ating alalahanin ang kaniyang iniwang aral. Bilang pagkilala sa kaniyang mga adhikain, mangyaring ating bigyang turing bilang kabataan ang kaniyang katagang "𝑨𝒏𝒈 𝒌𝒂𝒃𝒂𝒕𝒂𝒂𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝒑𝒂𝒈-𝒂𝒔𝒂 𝒏𝒈 𝒃𝒂𝒚𝒂𝒏. "

Participants strengthened their organizational and communication skills through 𝑺𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝟔: 𝑵𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆, 𝑨𝒄𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒉𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑭𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑹𝒆𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕 𝑾𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈, facilitated by 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗮 𝗣. 𝗖𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗻, former SSLG President (S.Y. 2022–2023). The session highlighted the importance of proper documentation and reporting in ensuring transparency, accountability, and effective organizational management.

Ms. Ciscon discussed the essential components and proper format of narrative, accomplishment, and financial reports. Participants learned how these documents help organizations record activities, evaluate outcomes, and account for resources, allowing projects and programs to be communicated clearly to stakeholders.

As the final learning session of the Maray na Padara: Leadership Training, the discussion served as a fitting culmination of the two-day program. By mastering the fundamentals of narrative, accomplishment, and financial report writing, participants were equipped with essential skills that will help them effectively document, evaluate, and communicate the impact of their future projects and initiatives as student leaders.

Participants broadened their perspective on global issues through 𝑺𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝟓: 𝟏𝟕 𝑺𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝑫𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒑𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑮𝒐𝒂𝒍𝒔, facilitated by 𝗞𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗻𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗳𝗮𝗻𝗶 𝗩. 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹, former SSLG President (S.Y. 2023–2024). The session introduced participants to the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals and their significance in building a more equitable, sustainable, and prosperous future.

Ms. Villareal discussed the importance of each Sustainable Development Goal and highlighted how student leaders can contribute to addressing societal and environmental challenges through responsible leadership, community involvement, and meaningful initiatives. Participants were encouraged to reflect on how these global goals can be translated into local actions within the school and community.

The session inspired participants to become advocates of positive change, empowering them to lead with a deeper sense of social responsibility and a commitment to creating a better future for all.

Participants kicked off the second day of the training on Thursday, June 11, through 𝑺𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝟒: 𝑾𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒐𝒍𝒖𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑴𝒆𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒖𝒎, facilitated by 𝗠𝗮. 𝗞𝗿𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗹 𝗝𝗼𝘆 𝗚. 𝗕𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗼𝗻, 𝗠𝗔𝗘𝗱. The session focused on the importance of resolutions and memoranda as essential documents in student organizations, ensuring that decisions, policies, and official communications are properly documented and disseminated.

Ms. Bongon discussed the key components, format, and proper structure of resolutions and memoranda. Participants learned how these documents serve as important tools in organizational governance and leadership, helping maintain clarity, accountability, and effective communication among members and stakeholders.

The session provided participants with a deeper understanding of the role of resolutions and memoranda in effective organizational management. Armed with newfound knowledge and practical insights, the student-leaders are now better prepared to uphold professionalism, transparency, and accountability in carrying out their duties and responsibilities.

𝐁𝐍𝐇𝐒 𝐒𝐒𝐋𝐆 | 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝗮 𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗮 𝗸𝗮 𝗻𝗮~ 🥺🇪🇸🇵🇭

Noong Hunyo 12, 1898, idineklara ng Pilipinas ang kalayaan mula sa mahigit tatlong siglong pananakop ng Espanya. Sa makasaysayang tahanan ni Heneral Emilio Aguinaldo sa Kawit, Cavite, unang iwinagayway ang watawat ng Pilipinas bilang sagisag ng isang bansang malaya at may sariling pagkakakilanlan.

Mahigit isang siglo na ang lumipas. Hindi na tayo sakop ng mga dayuhan. Wala nang banyagang kapangyarihang nagdidikta sa ating mga desisyon bilang isang bansa.

Ngunit sa gitna ng pagdiriwang ng kalayaan, isang tanong ang nananatili: 𝙩𝙤𝙩𝙤𝙤 𝙣𝙖 𝙗𝙖 𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙜𝙖 𝙩𝙖𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙖?

Hindi nga sa kamay ng mga mananakop o dayuhan, kundi sa pang-aalipusta naman ng kapwa Pilipino.

Malaya na ba talaga tayo? Sa diskriminasyon, panlalamang, korapsiyon, panghuhusga, at kawalan ng malasakit sa isa't isa?

Malaya na ba tayo sa kulturang humihila pababa sa kapwa sa halip na magtulungan upang umangat nang sama-sama?

Ang 𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗮𝘆 𝗻𝗮 𝗸𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗮𝗻 ay hindi lamang nasusukat sa pagkakaroon ng sariling watawat at soberanya—nasusukat din ito sa kung paano natin pinahahalagahan ang dignidad, karapatan, at pagkatao ng bawat Pilipino.

Ngayong 𝐼𝑘𝑎-128 𝐴𝑟𝑎𝑤 𝑛𝑔 𝐾𝑎𝑙𝑎𝑦𝑎𝑎𝑛, alalahanin natin ang nakaraan—ngunit higit sa lahat, pag-isipan natin kung paano tayo magiging tunay na malaya bilang isang bayan mula sa kamay at kasakiman ng ating sariling... kababayan!

Maging mulat para sa magandang bukas!

This celebration is not just a date of history–rather, a testament of bravery, sacrifice, and unwavering spirit of nationalism of our bayani's and ancestors whom fought for our freedom. 𝙄𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝘿𝙖𝙮 serves as a 𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙡𝙞𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙮, and the truth that it was not freely given–instead, it was earned through the bravery of countless heroes who dreamed of a nation where every Filipino could live with dignity, pride, and freedom.

May we all be reminded that 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙚 𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙢 is not just remembering the characters and heros who once fought but rather, practicing

The session focused on the fundamentals of creating well-structured and purposeful project proposals for school and community initiatives.

Ms. Badong discussed the essential components of a project proposal, including identifying objectives, outlining activities, preparing budgets, and establishing expected outcomes. Participants gained valuable insights into transforming ideas into feasible and doable projects that can effectively address the needs of learners and the school.

The session concluded with participants feeling more confident in planning and proposing impactful programs with the help of SSLG Teacher-Adviser Sir Jesus B. Rances, equipping them with practical skills they can apply in their respective organizations and future leadership endeavors.

Ms. Norte discussed the essential parts of meeting minutes, proper formatting, and effective note-taking techniques. Participants learned how minutes serve as an official record of discussions, decisions, and action plans, helping organizations stay organized and accountable.

The session concluded with a photo opportunity, capturing another productive and insightful learning experience for the future student leaders of Baao National High School.

The first learning session of the Maray na Padara: Leadership Training 2026 commenced with 𝑺𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝟏: 𝑸𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒂 𝑮𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝑺𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕-𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓, facilitated by 𝗠𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗞𝗮𝘆𝗲 𝗕. 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗮, former SSLG Secretary (S.Y. 2023–2024).

To energize the participants and introduce the concept of leadership, Ms. Quintana opened the session with an interactive activity where selected participants were tasked to untangle themselves from a human knot without speaking to one another. Despite the communication barrier, one participant stepped forward to guide the group, demonstrating initiative, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. The activity served as a powerful illustration that leadership often emerges in challenging situations and is rooted in the ability to inspire and direct others toward a common goal.

Following the activity, Ms. Quintana led an insightful discussion on the qualities that make an effective student leader, highlighting the importance of responsibility, integrity, communication, empathy, teamwork, and skill-based and character-based leadership. Participants were encouraged to reflect on their own leadership journeys and discover ways to strengthen their capacity to lead with purpose and character.

The session provided valuable lessons and meaningful realizations, reminding everyone that leadership is not merely about holding a position, but about making a positive impact on others through actions and example.

𝐁𝐍𝐇𝐒 𝐒𝐒𝐋𝐆 𝐍𝐞𝐰𝐬 | 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐲 𝐍𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐚: 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟏 - 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦)

The first day of the Maray na Padara: The Leadership Training 2026 officially commenced on June 10, 2026, at the SHS Building of Baao National High School. The Supreme Secondary Learner Government officers gathered as early as 7:00 AM for the registration and admission of participants, marking the beginning of a two-day journey toward leadership growth and empowerment.

The program formally opened with an Opening Prayer led by Jelliane Babe V. Biando, invoking guidance and wisdom for all participants throughout the training. This was followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, led by Cairus B. Barbara, fostering patriotism and unity among the delegates.

To officially welcome everyone to the event, Je-Ann France S. Buena, SSLG President, delivered her Welcome Remarks, expressing gratitude to the participants, facilitators, and organizers for their commitment to developing the next generation of student leaders. She encouraged everyone to actively participate, collaborate, and embrace the lessons that will be shared throughout the leadership training.
