AN IMPRESSIVE PERFORMANCE 🌟

The entire Baao Community College English Glee Club proudly celebrates the phenomenal performances of our brilliant students, Maureen Kaye Quintana, a 2nd year Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English (BSE-English) student, and Emanuel Clavel, a 2nd year Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEd) student, during the Director Anduyan Regional Quiz Bowl 2025 held on December 9, 2025, at the BU-FICC Amphitheater, Legazpi City.

Out of 96 contestants from higher education institutions across the region, both Quintana and Clavel aced the preliminary rounds after ranking 2nd and 16th, respectively. In the challenging second round, which narrowed the competition to the top 50, both students finished strong by placing 24th and 22nd.

Mr. Andrei Cronico served as the overall mentor of the BCC representatives guiding them to this triumphant feat.

A massive thank you to our college administrator, Ms. Maricel Peñero, for the constant support, lighting the way for academic excellence of the BCC community!

The English Glee Club (EGC) extends its sincere congratulations to the delegates from Baao Community College (BCC) for their exemplary representation of our institution at the recently concluded 11th National Social Science Congress (NSSC11), held at the Crown Legacy Hotel from September 18-20, 2025.

The team, composed of Bachelor of Secondary Education program students, was awarded 1st Place Best Poster and Presentation for their paper titled "Mga Istoryang Suanoy ni Nini ag ni Nonoy: Unfolding the Personal Stories of Basic Education Learners in Baao, Camarines Sur".

Additionally, college instructors and coordinators from the Office of the National Service Training Program (NSTP), heades by Mr. Andrei D. Cronico, also successfully presented their research paper at the event.

With the theme "Munting Tinig: Amplifying Children's Voices Through Social Science Research in the Philippines", the NSSC11 was organized by the Philippine Social Science Council, Inc. in partnership with the Kalinga State University.

Soaring from NSTP to NSSC!

The Office of the National Service Training Program (NSTP) is proud to congratulate the student delegates from Baao Community College (BCC) for winning 1st Best Research Poster and Presentation at the 11th National Social Science Congress (NSSC11). Their winning paper, "Mga Istoryang Suanoy ni Nini ag ni Nonoy: Unfolding the Personal Stories of Basic Education Learners in Baao, Camarines Sur," explores the authentic voices and experiences of elementary school learners in a public school in Baao. The research was conducted under the congress's theme, "Munting Tinig: Amplifying Children's Voices Through Social Science Research in the Philippines." The poster presenters were students from the Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSE) program, namely: Mr. Jan Ken B. Batan (III-BSE English), Ms. Kaycee D. Cabaltera (III-BSE Science), Ms. Jaylou A. Layosa (III-BSE Science), Ms. Gesa Ricafrente (III-BSE English), Ms. Wenalyn T. Doroin (III-BSE Science), and Ms. Joana Marie B. Ocile (III-BSE English), and mentored by Mr. Andrei Cronico and Mr. Troy Omar Bisenio.

The competition featured participants from various institutions across the Philippines, including the University of the Philippines Diliman, University of the Philippines Los Baños, University of San Agustin, Kalinga State University, Consuelo Zobel Alger Foundation, Nueva Vizcaya State University-Bambang Campus, and Holy Cross College of Davao held at the Crown Legacy Hotel in Baguio City from September 18 to 20, 2025.

This achievement is dedicated to the beneficiaries of the BCC-NSTP Tulong Dunong Program, as well as the people who generously shared their efforts and supported the delegates.

🌟 HER-story unlocked 🌟

The entire Baao Community College (BCC) congratulates its contingent for their outstanding performance in the 2025 DRRM Debate Challenge held on July 28, 2025, at the Capitol Complex, Pili, Camarines Sur.

The BCC team, composed of Jelian Sato (BSE II – Science), Gesa Ricafrente (BSE III – English), and Princess Servino (BSE IV – Science), proudly secured a spot in the Semi-finals and emerged as the 2nd Runner-Up in the competition.

Educators gathered to explore innovative strategies for crafting impactful lesson plans that align with curriculum goals and foster student engagement.
