MERMAID KAI 🧜🏼‍♀️

Congratulations and welcome Mermaid Kai of Pangasinan, the newest mermaid of Underwater Arts Academy of the Philippines and student of The Filipino Merman!

For years, Kai has marked her birthdays by giving back through charity, always choosing others before herself. This year, she chose a different path, to honor herself through an experience she’s long been curious about, to be a certified mermaid.

Initially drawn to the idea of a mermaid photoshoot, her journey shifted as she reconnected with her love for diving and discovered mermaiding as a new form of expression. Inspired by the mermaid portraits of UWAAP, she began to imagine herself as part of that world, and turned that inspiration into reality.

Having a strong background in the medical field, Kai now balances science, service, and self-discovery, both on land and beneath the sea.
