Malunggay (Moringa) is a fast-growing tree in the Philippines. Known as a "miracle vegetable" or "nature's medicine cabinet" by scientists and health care workers from around the world because of its enormous benefits. From the root trunk and branches to the leaves, flowers, fruits, and seeds, all parts are usable for nutritional and medicinal purposes. With all these benefits, planting Malunggay trees is highly encouraged.
And to celebrate “The National Malunggay Month” this November, we conducted the Malunggay/ Moringa Tree Planting Activity, November 12, 2021, at 9:00 AM. It was being participated by our dear Head Teachers, Master Teachers and All grade level Teachers of JHS and SHS as well as the very active SSG in planting our Malunggay into our different grade level gardens. Our dear students also participated by planting at their own garden space at home!
