The Learning Action Cell (LAC) Session of Pasdong Elementary School was conducted on October 14, 2025, and was facilitated by Ms. Brinda B. Amado, School Head. The session focused on three important topics: the Enhanced Curriculum Program (ECP), the upcoming Sports Zone Meet, and the Classroom Observation Tool (COT) guidelines. The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen teachers’ collaboration, ensure effective implementation of school programs, and prepare for upcoming academic and co-curricular activities.
During the discussion on the Enhanced Curriculum Program (ECP), teachers reviewed its ongoing implementation and emphasized the importance of applying learner-centered strategies.
In preparation for the upcoming Sports Zone Meet, updates were presented on the list of athletes, coaches, and training schedules. The teachers discussed the importance of maintaining balance between learners’ academic and athletic responsibilities. Health, safety, and nutrition reminders were also given, along with the need to secure parental consent forms.
The session also tackled the Classroom Observation Tool (COT) guidelines under the RPMS-PPST framework. Teachers reviewed the observation process and discussed the key domains, including Content Knowledge, Learning Environment, and Assessment. They were reminded to prepare lesson plans aligned with performance indicators and to engage in peer mentoring and mock teaching sessions to enhance readiness.
The session concluded with an agreement to hold a follow-up LAC meeting after the Zone Meet to evaluate the outcomes of both the sports event and the COT observations. Teachers expressed their commitment to continuous improvement, professional collaboration, and the successful implementation of all school programs for the holistic development of learners.
