Camp 30 Elementary School receives 162 “Gamit ni Bulilit” Packages from NGCP

Caliking, Atok, Benguet – September 19, 2025. Camp 30 Elementary School received a total of 162 “Gamit ni Bulilit” school supply packages from the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) as part of its yearly project to support learners in host communities across the country.

The packages were distributed among learners in the lower grades: Kindergarten (44), Grade 1 (39), Grade 2 (36), and Grade 3 (43).

The turnover and distribution ceremony was held at Camp 30 Elementary School. The program began with an opening prayer led by Aprila P. Himuldang, Teacher III, followed by the singing of Pilipinas Kong Mahal led by Leilani S. Piay, Teacher III. A warm welcome message was given by Romualdo M. Tiden, School Principal I.

To highlight the event, Melma Concepcion C. Batario, Government Relations and Regional Affairs Officer of NGCP, delivered an inspirational message before the ceremonial turnover and acceptance of the donations. This was further supported by a message from Mayclaire A. Jimenez, Regional Partnership Focal Person of the Education Support Services Division (ESSD) from the Regional Office.

A heartfelt message of gratitude was delivered by Marcelino S. Baldo, Public Schools District Supervisor- Atok District. The event concluded with closing remarks from Jake C. Caluza, Teacher III. The program was smoothly facilitated by Cesar S. Martin, Master Teacher II, who served as the Master of Ceremonies.

One Grade 3 learner expressed his joy after receiving the package, saying, “Thank you po, may gagamitin ulit ako.” His words reflected the appreciation and relief of many learners who now have the supplies they need for their studies.

“Gamit ni Bulilit” is one of NGCP’s flagship corporate social responsibility programs, aiming to provide school supplies to public school learners in NGCP’s host communities every year. With this assistance, Camp 30 Elementary School learners are more equipped and motivated to pursue their studies.
