Embodying the theme "Truth, Integrity, and Innovation: Empowering Campus Journalists in the Digital Age," young scribes and artists from Boneng Integrated School (BIS) delivered an outstanding performance at the Atok District Schools Press Conference (DSPC) held on October 3, 2026, securing top spots across elementary and secondary divisions in both English and Filipino categories.

Boneng Integrated School (BIS) conducted its 1st General PTA Meeting, bringing together parents, teachers, and
stakeholders to strengthen collaboration for the learners' success.

The meeting covered important agenda, including the election of the new set of PTA officers, discussion of new school policies and DepEd memoranda, presentation of the PTA Treasurer's Report, orientation on the Students' Handbook, and other school concerns.

The activity concluded with the Oath-Taking Ceremony of the newly elected PTA officers, administered by the School Head, Mr. Macton A. Alonzo, signifying their commitment to serve the school community with dedication and integrity.

The Atok Municipal Police Station (MPS), headed by Chief of Police Juliet Kaniteng, conducted a short Information Education Campaign (IEC) to BIS learners. The activity focused on road safety, including the proper way to cross streets, the importance of wearing helmets and appropriate attire when riding motorcycles, and essential safety reminders for motorcycle passengers and riders.

Boneng Integrated School conducted the Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on June 19, 2026, demonstrating preparedness and awareness in responding to earthquake emergencies.

Boneng Integrated School successfully kicked off Brigada Eskwela on June 1, 2026, through the collective efforts of the BIS faculty headed by School Head Mr. Macton A. Alonzo, PTA officials, parents, learners, and community volunteers.

From June 1–5, everyone worked hand in hand to prepare the school for the opening of classes by cleaning classrooms and school surroundings, repairing damaged roofs, constructing water drainage systems, and repainting classrooms. These efforts reflect the true spirit of bayanihan and our shared commitment to providing a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment for all learners.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed their time, skills, and resources. Together, we make a difference!
