Kinder to Grade 3 learners of Boneng Integrated School were all smiles as they received school supply donations from NGCP through the Gamit ni Bulilit program on September 10, 2025. The donations were personally distributed by Mr. Macton A. Alonzo, school head of BIS.

Atok Mps Leads Information Campaign on Crime Prevention for Junior and Senior High School Students

Boneng Integrated School (BIS), in partnership with the Philippine National Police (PNP) Atok Municipal Police Station and other community stakeholders, successfully conducted its National Crime Prevention Week Program on September 4, 2025. With the theme "Pinalakas na Pamahalaang Lokal para sa Ligtas na Pamayanan: Pagpapatibay ng mga Programa sa Pag-iwas sa Krimen sa Ilalim ng CSOP,"
this activity aimed to raise awareness among students about crime prevention, public safety, and community responsibility.

The Highlights of the IEC are:
Environmental Health Zero Open Defecation (ZOD): Ricky M. Alos, Sanitary Inspector, emphasized the importance of environmental sanitation and personal hygiene in preventing health-related problems in the community.

Republic Act 8353 (Anti-Rape Law of 1997): PCpl Cren Jane P Dangsian of WCPD PNCO discussed the law’s provisions and highlighted the importance of protecting the rights and dignity of individuals.

Anti-Illegal Drugs Awareness Campaign: PCpl Fermin D Baskial, MCAD PNCO, presented the harmful effects of illegal drugs and the government’s programs to combat drug abuse.

Anti-Terrorism Awareness Campaign & Relevant Municipal Ordinances: PCpl Arthur L. Luis Jr.., MPSMT PNCO, explained laws and ordinances aimed at maintaining peace and order in the locality.

Anti-Bullying and Anti-Criminality Measures & Basic Motorcycle Safety Tips: PCpl Joenard C Dep-as, MCAD PNCO, underscored the importance of respect, discipline, and responsibility among students.

To further engage the learners, BIS held contests such as slogan making, poster making, and a jingle competition. These activities gave students the opportunity to creatively express their understanding of crime prevention and community safety.

BIS Joins the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill

On September 11, 2025, Boneng Integrated School actively participated in the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill. The activity aimed to strengthen disaster preparedness and ensure that both learners and teachers are equipped with the right knowledge and skills in times of emergencies.

At exactly 9:25 AM, the alarm signaled the start of the drill. Students and faculty immediately performed the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure, followed by a quick yet orderly evacuation to designated open areas. Teachers guided their classes, ensuring safety and discipline throughout the process.

This activity not only heightened awareness but also tested the school’s readiness and response system during an earthquake scenario. With the support of the school administration and the cooperation of all learners, the drill became a success.

BIS Holds Send-Off and Turnover Ceremony for Administrative Officer II

On August 29, 2025, Boneng Integrated School (BIS) held a heartfelt send-off and turnover ceremony for the position of Administrative Officer II (AO II). The event honored the dedicated service of outgoing AO II, Ms. Kathleen Rose C. Ignacio, and welcomed the incoming AO II, Mr. Jess Arais.

BIS teachers and staff gathered to express their gratitude to Ms. Ignacio, who has made significant contributions to the school during her tenure. She was recognized for her commitment, efficiency, and unwavering support in ensuring smooth administrative operations. In turn, colleagues shared messages of appreciation, highlighting her accomplishments and the positive impact she left on the school community.

At the same time, the BIS family warmly welcomed Mr. Jess Arais as the new AO II. Teachers and staff extended their support and expressed optimism that under his leadership, the school will continue to thrive in its pursuit of excellence in both academic and administrative undertakings.

Pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa 2025

Ipinagdiwang ng BIS ang Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa noong Agosto 29, 2025 na may temang “Paglinang sa Filipino at Katutubong Wika: Makasaysayan sa Pagkakaisa ng Bansa.” Ang selebrasyon ay naging makulay at makabuluhan sapagkat pinamalas ng mga mag-aaral mula sa elementarya, junior high school, at senior high school ang kanilang husay, talento, at pagmamahal sa sariling wika.

Sa pangunguna nina Ginang Conchita S. Somalia at Gng. Ellen Joy P. Falanci, mga Filipino coordinator ng elementarya at sekondarya, matagumpay na naisagawa ang iba’t ibang gawain gaya ng pagtula, pag-awit, masining na pagbigkas, sayaw, at pagtatanghal na nakaugat sa ating kultura at kasaysayan. Ang mga kalahok ay nagbigay-inspirasyon sa mga kapwa mag-aaral na higit pang pahalagahan at ipagmalaki ang wikang Filipino at mga katutubong wika ng bansa.

Layon ng nasabing pagdiriwang na ipakita ang kahalagahan ng wika bilang instrumento ng pagkakaisa at pagkakakilanlan. Sa pamamagitan ng sama-samang partisipasyon ng lahat ng antas ng mag-aaral, napatunayan na ang wika ay hindi lamang daluyan ng kaalaman, kundi isa ring tulay na nag-uugnay sa bawat Pilipino.

Sa pagtatapos ng programa, ipinabatid ng mga g**o ang pasasalamat sa mga mag-aaral at mga magulang na sumuporta sa selebrasyon. Ang diwa ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa ngayong taon ay nagbigay-diin sa mahalagang papel ng Filipino at katutubong wika sa paghubog ng kasaysayan at pagkakaisa ng ating bayan.
