Congratulations to all of our School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management members who volunteered their time to represent our organization for the Rescue Olympics conducted yesterday.

Indeed their great skills, team work, perseverance, and love for service lead them to bag the 5th Place for the participating teams and their very willingness to be the organization’s representatives to this event is already a huge accomplishment.

It is with great pride that we commend all the courage, determination and desire for service of our members, may it also inspire others to continued to train themselves to become better disaster preparedness and emergency responder’s . Congratulations team! From LGMCI SDRRM family we are all very proud of all you have accomplished.

Sa likod ng bawat matagumpay na programa ay may mga taong handang maglingkod. Bilang bahagi ng duty team, naging handa kaming tiyakin ang kaligtasan at kapakanan ng lahat ng dumalo sa Acquaintance Party 2026. Habang nagsasaya ang bawat isa, nanatili kaming alerto at handang tumugon sa anumang sitwasyon na maaaring mangailangan ng agarang aksyon.

Maraming salamat sa tiwala at sa pagkakataong makapaglingkod.

Patuloy kaming magsisilbi nang may dedikasyon, disiplina, at malasakit sa komunidad.

The members of the SDRRMC took part in an Emergency Response Training in an effort to deepen their understanding of and provide them with practical experience on emergency response. The session included hands-on exercises on first aid, CPR, victim assessment, and handling. Every training is an opportunity to learn, grow, and become better prepared to respond in times of need.

Preparedness starts with awareness.

Emergency can happen at any time of day or night. You may be able to use the knowledge you gathered to help yourself and others. Familiarize yourself with all of the escape routes. You can also keep calm and listen to the people with authority.

There is no reason to be afraid as long as you are prepared.

SDRRM ORIENTATION 2026 | One Mission, One Team

The Student Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (SDRRM) Organization successfully conducted its Orientation Program, warmly welcoming a remarkable number of new members from different year levels and academic programs.

The activity served as an opportunity to officially welcome our newest members, introduce the SDRRM officers, and familiarize everyone with the organization's roles, activities, and the values of teamwork, preparedness, and volunteerism that every member upholds.

The massive participation of the students reflects our community's desire to learn, serve the institution, and contribute to community awareness by becoming part of an organization that promotes leadership, teamwork, preparedness, and volunteerism. As an organization, we will continue our mission of guiding and empowering our students to become proactive participants in our school and communities.

SDRRMC | ORIENTATION 2026–2027

Naging bahagi ang SDRRMC LGMCi sa pag-welcome at pag-assist sa mga freshmen sa ginanap na Orientation Program ng Leon Guinto Memorial College, Inc.

Sa araw na ito, naipakita ang pakikiisa at suporta ng organisasyon sa mga bagong mag-aaral sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay-gabay, pag-assist sa kanilang mga pangangailangan, at pagtulong sa pagpapanatili ng maayos na daloy ng programa. Naging opportunity rin ito to share kung ano ang ginagawa at layunin ng SDRRMC bilang isang organization na aktibong nakikilahok sa school activities.

Kasama ang iba’t ibang organizations mula sa iba’t ibang courses, naging mas lively at engaging ang buong programa, giving the freshmen a glimpse of the opportunities and experiences na naghihintay sa kanila sa kanilang college journey.
Sa simpleng paraan, naging bahagi ang SDRRMC team ng kanilang first step sa college life—isang araw na puno ng connection, teamwork, at bagong simula para sa lahat.
