📌 REMINDER TO ALL DEPED PERSONNEL 📌
DepEd has issued a Memorandum dated August 11, 2026, reiterating the guidelines on the Responsible Use of Social Media.
Here are important reminders for all teaching, teaching-related, and non-teaching personnel:
1️⃣ BE PROFESSIONAL ONLINE
Whether using a personal or official account, always uphold professionalism, ethics, integrity, and respect. Personal accounts are not exempt when posts involve learners, classrooms, school activities, or official functions.
2️⃣ PROTECT LEARNER PRIVACY
In accordance with DepEd Order No. 006, s. 2026, strictly protect learners’ Personally Identifiable Information (PII). Do not post photos, videos, or personal details of learners without proper authorization and required parental consent.
3️⃣ PROTECT DEPED’S INTEGRITY
Consistent with DepEd Order No. 049, s. 2022, avoid sharing unverified information, engaging in online disputes with colleagues, or publishing content that may undermine the integrity and credibility of the Department. Concerns should be addressed through proper channels.
