The Toboy National High School (TNHS) has launched its “No Single-Use Plastic & Styrofoam Policy” as part of its continuing efforts to promote environmental responsibility and sustainable practices within the school community.

𝘼𝙣𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙣 Republic Act No. 11898, Republic Act No. 9003, Department Order No. 52, s. 2011, DepEd Memorandum No. 24, s. 2021, Regional Memorandum No. 749, s. 2026, and Division Memorandum No. 367, s. 2026, the policy aims to reduce the use of disposable plastic and styrofoam materials among learners, personnel, and other stakeholders.

The initiative also highlights the importance of solid waste segregation through the proper classification and disposal of recyclable, biodegradable, and residual waste. TNHS encourages everyone to practice responsible waste management and to contribute to a cleaner, safer, and more environmentally friendly school.

Through this initiative, TNHS learners are encouraged to bring reusable containers, avoid unnecessary single-use plastics and styrofoam, and actively participate in proper waste segregation.

The SSLG believes that protecting the environment begins with simple, everyday choices.
