At the Moment | PSU-AC Ignites Bright Semester Vibes through Brigada Eskwela
Pangasinan State University, Asingan Campus is in full swing on its first day of the Brigada Eskwela program in preparation for the upcoming second semester. Dr. Madlyn Tingco, the vibrant campus executive director, takes the lead alongside department chairmen and students.
Each department is assigned with specific cleaning tasks to ensure the campus is ready for the next semester. The primary goal is to create an environment conducive to learning, ensuring a smooth start for both faculty and students.
Under Dr. Tingco's guidance, students from the Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSE) department are assigned in cleaning the FVR building facade, PSU frontage, and rooms 1, 2, and 5. Simultaneously, students from the Bachelor of Elementary Education Department take responsibility for maintaining the walkway from the guardhouse to the FVR Building and cleaning Rooms 3, 4, and 17.
This strategic division of tasks highlights the collaborative spirit within PSU-AC's academic community, promoting shared responsibility and pride in maintaining a clean and suitable campus environment. Beyond cleanliness, the Brigada Eskwela program represents a collective commitment to unity and cooperation among students and faculty.
In the midst of the ongoing activities at PSU-AC, the institution remains committed to cultivating an environment supportive of academic excellence and community engagement. HEADS UP, EDUCATORS!
The ELEMENTARY EDUCATOR'S GUILD (EEG) of the Bachelor of Elementary Education Department together with the PHILIPPINE CONSORTIUM FOR SCIENCE, MATHEMATICS AND TECHNOLOGY (PCSMT) participated in the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) and launching of an extension project initiated by Dr.Mary Jane U.Quibilan and Mr.Laurence D.Agsalud with Cabuloan Elementary School (CES) headed by Ms. Glenda B.Peralta, Principal II. The MOA signing ceremony was held on April 18, 2023 at the school's social hall and was witnessed by the school's teachers, learners, PSU Asingan’s Extension Coordinator, Ms. Adoracion T. Gante and other faculty members in the BEE and General Education Department.
Also,the EEG wholeheartedly shares simple token for the pupils as a form of motivation and reward.
The project aims to provide active and creative engagement learning and sharing that encompasses Puppet performance , storytelling using big books, language , science and craft, numbers and technology, social and emotional, physical, and health.
For the organization,having this kind of project activity is a great opportunity.Smiles coming from the students makes them motivated and inspired to continue ahead on their journey as future educators.
EEG and BEE students would like to extend sincerest thanks to Dr. Mary Jane U. Quibilan, Chairman of BEE and General Education Department for letting this amazing experience a reality.
Special thanks to our Campus Executive Director,Dr.Rosario DL. Valencerina for the approval of this project and to Ma'am Glenda D. Bergado-Peralta,the School Principal II of CES, for her warm welcome and accommodating acceptance of the partnership.

In order to raise environmental awareness and prepare for the beginning of the second semester of classes, the campus implemented the Brigada Unibersidad program. There are designated places for each department in several campus areas. We, the Bachelor of Elementary Education students, started to clean the areas that they assigned to us. We give our actions and participation for the betterment of our areas. We will continue to fulfill our responsibilities as students to make the Pangasinan State University, Asingan Campus, clean and attractive to everyone. We encourage everyone to help prepare and clean in our Brigada Unibersidad on Friday, March 3, 2023, at Pangasinan State University, Asingan Campus.
