Good day! To everyone involved, we understand the concern regarding the banners that appeared larger than expected. We would just like to clarify that the official mechanics and judging criteria for the Best Banner did not specify a size limitation. Because of this, participants had the freedom to interpret and execute their banner designs creatively, which included larger formats (already evident in previous Best in Banner Competitions).

The judges evaluated all entries based on the announced criteria, and the "size of the banner" itself was not a determining factor... rather, the overall creativity, relevance to the theme, visual impact, and presentation were considered.

We appreciate the enthusiasm and effort that every batch of alumni put into their banners. Moving forward, we will also take this feedback into consideration so we can suggest clearer guidelines for future host batches of the alumni homecoming.

To all participating batches in the Retro Dance Competition for the 16th Grand Alumni Homecoming, please take note of the following additional mechanics:

โ€ข Each batch must have a minimum of 10 members.
โ€ข All performances must follow a retro theme inspired by the 70s, 80s, or 90s.
โ€ข Each batch is given a maximum of 5 minutes to perform. A 10-second grace period is allowed. Exceeding the time limit will result in point deductions.
โ€ข Use of props is allowed, but they must be safe and easy to set up or remove. Costumes must also be appropriate and aligned with the retro concept.
โ€ข Music must be submitted before the competition (USB or online file).

Please review these guidelines to ensure a smooth and exciting Retro Dance Competition. We look forward to seeing your batches bring the retro vibes to the stage at the 16th Grand Alumni Homecoming.
