𝑪𝒂𝑵𝑯𝑺’ 𝑺𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝑺𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑨𝒕𝒉𝒍𝒆𝒕𝒆𝒔 𝒋𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒔 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒕 𝑰 𝑺𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒔 𝑴𝒆𝒆𝒕 2024 𝒂𝒕 𝑺𝒂𝒏 𝑷𝒐𝒍𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒑𝒐

Carapdapan NHS’ student athletes together with their coaches, as well as the school’s newly installed school head, Ma’am Marites Orio, took part in the 2024 Unit I Sports Meet held last December 6-7, 2024 at San Policarpo, Eastern Samar.

The student athletes from CaNHS who represented Arteche District were the following: Gian Carl Espinosa for Jumps-Athletics (Coach: Ma’am Niña Luz Evardone), Epie Pajanustan for Running-Athletics (Coach: Ma’am Maricris O. Orque), Juvy Rose Maiso for Badminton (Coach: Sir Peter J. Cebrero), and nine taekwondo players composing of Mariel Magno, Gerian Mae Mengullo, May Mengullo, Dawn Stacy Espina, Bea Glycerille, Manill Orque, John Christian Teñoso, Mark Jhierol Arriega, and Mark Jude Moscosa (Coach: Ma’am Jean Pinangay Baculo).

Ma’am Marites Orio together with Sir Phillip Aucilla of ANHS brought hope and pride for Arteche District when they bagged 1st Place in the banner raising competition.

CaNHS will always be proud and grateful to the student athletes and coaches representing the school and will continuously support them in the annual sports event.

The esteemed school head of Carapdapan NHS, Ma’am Marites Orio, initiated to continuously support one of the school’s project. One of which is the provision of water dispensers. An addition of three water dispensers were purchased through the school’s MOOE. The three water dispensers were distributed to the ICT room, TLE room and the school library last November 29, 2024.

This positive action shows a great deal as it helps maintain the wellness of the school’s constituents.

Carapdapan National High School’s selected officiating officials/coaches and technical official attended the Three-Day Division Enhancement Training Workshop for Officiating and Coaches on Different Sports Discipline and Strategic Coaching held at Dolores District on November 22-24, 2024.

There were 4 selected officiating/coaches and 1 technical official who actively participated on the training workshop. Some of the highlights of the said activity includes physical fitness test, medical tests, and a refresher course discussion.

Carapdapan National High School’s campus journalists and school paper advisers attended the Division Training Workshop on Campus Journalism held at General MacArthur National Agricultural School on November 23-24, 2024.

There were 12 campus journalists and 7 school paper advisers who successfully participated in the conducted training workshop for individual events.

Challenging yet a meaningful one. Kudos to all!
