From September 21–23, 2026, our Grade 10 learners of Luy-a National High School took the National Career Assessment Examination (NCAE)—another meaningful step in discovering their strengths, interests, and possible paths for the future.

With focus, determination, and a little bit of nervousness, our learners gave their best throughout the examination. May this experience help them better understand themselves and guide them as they make important choices for their senior high school journey and beyond.

A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated teachers and exam facilitators, Ma’am Lyka Ferreras, Sir Rainier Duano, and Sir Anthony Jayver Tan, for their guidance, support, and encouragement throughout the NCAE.

To our Grade 10 learners, you did your part—now believe in what you can become!

Luy-a NHS is proud of you!💙

Our Cluster In-Service Training (INSET) on September 11, 2026 brought teachers of Manamoc Upland IS, Pangle IS, Balete HS, and Luy-a NHS together for a meaningful day of learning, collaboration, reflection, and professional growth.

From Lesson Planning and Learning Design (DO No. 16, s. 2026) and the Quality Assurance of Term 2 Draft Lesson Plans, to Assessment and Grading (DO No. 15, s. 2026), the ARAL Program, and Learning Continuity in Emergencies (DO No. 14, s. 2026), each session provided practical insights that teachers can bring into their classrooms.

Grateful for the valuable inputs of our seven Resource Persons (Ma’am Gemma C. Manlapaz, Principal I; Dr. Hazel P. Recaña, Master Teacher I; Dr. Abegail R. Barredo, Master Teacher I; Sir Noel R. Saut, Head Teacher I/School Head; Ma’am Vivian D. Bulalacao, Master Teacher I; Ma’am Rowena R. Bilang, Teacher VI; and Ma’am Marah C. Cedillo, Head Teacher I), who shared their expertise, experiences, and perspectives, enriching the learning of every participant.

We were likewise honored by the visit of our PSDS, Dr. Ramil Gutierrez whose presence and support strengthened our commitment to continuous improvement and instructional excellence.
