‎Legislative Week 2026 | Mind Over Matter: Empowering the Next Generation of Resilient Leaders

‎On July 31, 2026, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) of Nueva Vizcaya Institute participated in the celebration of Legislative Week 2026, anchored on the theme, “SANGGUNIANG BAYAN: KALASAG MO SA BAWAT PELIGRO.”
‎
‎As part of the celebration, the “Mind Over Matter: Empowering the Next Generation of Resilient Leaders” session was conducted, providing student leaders with an opportunity to develop greater self-awareness, strengthen their resilience, and gain a deeper understanding of the responsibilities and challenges that come with leadership.
‎
‎Throughout the event, student leaders engaged in meaningful activities and discussions that encouraged reflection, collaboration, and personal growth. Beyond the enjoyment and camaraderie shared during the activities, the event allowed participants to recognize their individual strengths, understand their emotions and experiences, and reflect on how these shape them as student leaders.
‎
‎The event emphasized that effective leadership begins with self-awareness, resilience, and the willingness to learn and grow. It served as a meaningful reminder that student leaders must not only be capable of leading others but must also understand themselves and remain resilient in the face of challenges.

‎Through Legislative Week 2026 and Mind Over Matter, the SSLG continues to support the development of responsible, resilient, and empowered young leaders who are prepared to serve their fellow learners and contribute positively to the school community.

This is in view of the Heavy Rainfall Warning No. 19 issued by DOST-PAGASA and upon recommendation of the Municipal Disaster Risk and Reduction Management Office

As of 5:00 PM today, August 6, 2026, the Municipality of Aritao is no longer under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 1, based on the latest advisory from DOST-PAGASA.

Accordingly, classes in all public and private schools in the Municipality of Aritao will resume tomorrow, August 7, 2026.

All learners, parents, teachers, and school personnel are advised to continue exercising caution and to remain vigilant.

Please be guided accordingly. Stay safe.
