A supposed holiday for Pisay-CVisC students turned out to be a start of an early sembreak after a magnitude 7.2 earthquake shook Bohol and neighboring provinces at 8:12 AM of October 15. It jolted students and employees while leaving buildings of the 7-year-old campus damaged.
Cracks from both three-storey academic buildings were visible in and out of the structures while Girls’ Dormitory Building was also declared unsafe due to cracks and possible falling debris.
Some debris fell, including a wall portion of the Academic Building I that landed right into the roof of the adjacent Admin Building, damaging both the IT and Conference rooms.
